I have and the experience was fine. The shipping is usually the killer. So look at that. Check their ebay rating. Under
'meet the seller'on the right, next to their name is a number and then a rating (90% positive, 100% positive, etc.) I buy only from buyers who have sold a lot and have a very high positive feedback rating. It's not a guarantee. But usually those sellers are concerned about their reputation and will do a good job.

Leah, I am looking for the Curcuma roscoeana "Pride of Burma" and since it seems no one has it or wants to trade with me, I just have to keep an eye open for this one on ebay. So far only the thai nursery offers this one.

Of course if it is recommeended to get this import certificate, I will not bid on it.

I was bored and nosy so I did a quick search, a few sites list the "jewel of burma" as being the same as the "pride of burma" it's worth a look.

Try "Brads buds and blooms". He has a contact but don't know what it would cost you. It would mean a certificate and some $$.
He is up in Orlando and sells Plumerias but maybe can get other plants? Not sure.

they have had this plant locally on and off for many years here at a couple of nurseries in Gainesville. I will take a look tomorrow when I am out and see if they currently have any in stock. I have to mail off a trade of heliconia yellow christmas and will be right over by one of the places.
