Thanks Gabi and Shanna! I was really hoping it was. Can you please tell me if it can take some morning direct sun, or does it prefer filtered light all day? Also what color is the flower? Although I am realistic and am not looking for it right away. Thanks again,

Mine is in morning direct sun, and does great (indoors, that is). So you'll be fine. If you're talking about outside, then I think you'll be fine - just try it, and if you notice sunburn on the leaves, give it some shade. Also, it might get a little bleached (lighter) if you keep it in direct sun outside all year round, but it will most likely bloom faster and more often if kept in full sun.

The flowers are white (sometimes a light pinkish color) with red centers. And they smell like chocolate!

If you're growing it outside, I would suggest you grow it in a nice shady spot, like under a tree or porch. A little morning sun is ok, but Florida's sun it hot and will likely burn your Hoya. And I personally don't like the "washed out" look at all, and am willing to deal with fewer flowers to keep a plant looking pristine. I grow my KP inside in an east window. I've always found that variegated plants do better with a little less sun than their plain green counterparts, which I know defies logic. I thought maybe it was just my personal experience until I found an article once that suppported my viewpoint.

I have a couple rooted cuttings of KQ that I salvaged off an old plant that had reverted back to mostly green, so I'm looking for a potfull like that. I'll have to hit my Lowe's and see if they have one!

You're KP hoya is just beautiful and very healthy!! Will heed the warning on the direct sun here in Florida, our sun is very strong especially in the late spring to summer.

I'm not sure if your lowe's carry the same plants, but just in case, mine came from "Costa Farms", with a tag that says Assorted Hanging Baskets, item # 56506 maybe you can ask your local lowe's to check and see if they can order it? It's a lot cheaper than (Exotic Angel $14.99) for the same size pot.
