Please help ID Hoya...
Comments (8)I'm sure it's nummularioides. I got a beautiful large EA basket earlier in the summer and it has stayed gorgeous. Good thing because a nummulariodes I ordered from an online vendor came with about 3 sticks that promptly died. Funny thing, i paid about the same for those sticks as I did for the gorgeous EA basket. I've never tried to contact Costa Farms but they have been putting out some great baskets of plants this summer. There is never a name, not even hoya. I believe they grow plants only for Lowes and HD. Susan...See MoreHelp with Hoya ID Please
Comments (5)Thanks for your help. I guess I will just have to wait and see on the pubicalyx. Strangely enough I just looked closely at one of my other hoyas this morning and I believe I have a peduncle forming. I thought this plant would never bloom! I lost count on how old it is. It is huge and it is in a 6" pot. I kept thinking I needed to repot it, but I'm not going to touch it now. I don't even know what it is either. I had always assumed it was a carnosa. ...if this actually does bloom, I will do a cartwheel!!!...See MoreHoya ID - help with three plants, please!
Comments (7)Hi Pirate Girl! THANK you for your input - I appreciate it! I'm inclined to think "plant #2" is a kentiana ssp. weyetii as I DO have an IDed shephardii and its leaves are MUCH longer and thinner. Once everything blooms, I guess we'll have a better idea and maybe someone will want to exchange with me! Thanks again so much! Comments (4)Yup, agreed on the ID. You could probably take cuttings a few nodes long & pot them back into mother plant's pot, to make it look even more full & lush....See MoreYcloh1 (Singapore)
