Gonna Try Some Baker Creek Heirlooms This Fall

brute

I got tired of the usual vegetable seeds from Home Depot and Lowe's, so I sent away for something a little more exotic.

The seeds came today. They are:

Black From Tula Tomato

Thai Golden Round Musk Melon

Costata Romanesco Squash

Black Cherry Tomato

And, as a surprise, they threw in a free packet of Green Zebra Tomato.

So, does anybody even know if this stuff will grow in Southwest Florida? I asked the folks at Baker Creek and they didn't know. They said they seldom get any feedback from Florida.

Does anybody here know about these varieties? Should I plant now, or wait for cooler weather?

Any advice would be appreciated.
