Oh they are tough little plants arent they?my plants suffered from irregular watering and they became limp and not growing that much.Then i figured that they need more water than say,cacti.Now i water them just like my other plants EXCEPT when they are dormant and/or they replace their roots.Even in winter i water them a little and they are happy as a pig in the mud!!!!so my advice would be to water your plant a little more..oh,and give it strong light if you can!! (Haworthia arachnoidea var nigricans seedling,its pot sometimes floods but it doesnt complain,it has excellent drainage!) This post was edited by angellilly on Mon, May 12, 14 at 17:15

Is it Aphids? shot it with some soapy water and see if it washes off. Sago's have been having a rough time in Florida recently...some type of scale has been causing alot to die a slow and ugly death. ; [

IT"S ALIVE has changed to "WilL IT SURVIVE this afternoon. Here is poor Joe , A "Johnny Got his Gun Reference" He is soundlessly yelling for help or singing with his mouthful. That small brown mushy spot grew the more I dug into it. After picking away at it with my utility knife I went and sharpened the side of an old measuring spoon from a long ago broken cannister and started to clean up my digging with a sharp scooper. It got dusted with sulfur and un potted it due to some soft small roots that I found . It needed a root trimming. Here Mr. Joe Bottoms is resting callusing his wounds in the shade of a Bilbergia windii before being potted up in a slightly raised manner to elevate the wound above the soil line and to further accentuate the growing caudex and gnarly roots. Joe is gaining character and grace under pressure..... well, maybe I won't go that far.

Hi guys! Thanks. The plant was determined, chuy. I actually forgot it was dangling from a string in my shop for months before I put it back in the pot. Dain! I left all my plants alone for a year so there was really nothing going on. I'm going to be unpotting a number of them this year---plants I haven't bothered for about two to three years except for an occasional pruning.
