Still some bloom on August 18

I've been so busy working in the garden that I haven't had time to upload pictures, but I'm taking a break right now to catch up. Here are a few that are blooming today.

Wow, all those seedlings are so pretty. I love all of them but one and three are my very favorites. Matter of fact those are my favorites of all of your blooms today.

I think your seedlings are my favorite of your blooms too, but I like #3 & #4. My Indy Rhapsody has finished blooming, but I do love that daylily, a nice red.

Wish I knew what they were thinkin' when they name these daylilies, Juicy Bubble Butt? I like the teeth, need to look up the hybridizers picture I guess, yours looks nice. Your Billy the Kid is starting off nicely, mine was ok the first bloom, but got better with each bloom. Maybe it needed warmer temps to really get the look, but I really like it. I don't know how it will do when it is established, but every flower looked different, which I liked. How great to have such a nice clump like Tiffany Shade blooming now.

Wow, nice bud count on Wanda Lou Lovely. You'll have plenty of blooms at the correct height I'm guessing. Hoping to see more soon....I got Mary Todd 3 years ago as a bonus plant and to my surprise I really liked her. Mines been through blooming for weeks now. As an aside I had put her in the somewhat shady spot that eventually SC Irish Illumination went to (and did rather well in), and I can tell you from that experiment, for me at least, Mary Todd benefits from full sun.......... Like Undercurrent. Pretty color, and your purple Noid looks good too. Cooler climates always show off the best looking purples IMHO............Maryl

Ingrid, Rozanne is great here but the blue in the photo is "Bonny Blue" aster. This wood fence area is cooler and plants seem to do fine on both East and West facing sides so far. I do have a hebe facing East that looks terrible. That maybe should have been in shade here. I have a couple in shady spots doing well. It will be interesting to see what happens over the years with the Teas in different areas here. I think you'd like this aster which is very charming and tidy. Rozanne gets huge here, and I really love it. I have some in this fence garden that should be more obvious as time goes by. Yes, the drip irrigation is needed on almost everything.

Mantis, you are right! On the last set the first has a wrong color of the eye, not as purple of course, so the cell phone got it right, it's just not as bright, and more pink like my old camera captured. None of this added warmness, yellowness. My Yoke is Easy No.1 is right. I should have chosen something else to compare though. Yeah cell phone pics are crisp and detailed, i just do not understand this need for vividness and enhanced colors. My flowers as pale as they are are beautiful to me. I did read in one review that f/ something matters, but not sure what it is and how to change. The camera was overexposing and underexposing, too difficult to get a nice pic. It shouldn't be like this. Yes of course I was waiting for the green light. Kate, thanks! She is our senior kitty and she sleeps a lot. Your phone takes very nice pictures! They look very natural to me. Oh even a quick resizing and tagging that's nice. How interesting that your brother said so. I actually played with a portrait mode on the phone, I like the background blurred but it makes the file size significantly bigger, like from 2MB to 10. Still couldn't get a natural color )) Used to have a Noid just like this! It was pretty. Thanks Brad! That's a nice return policy. I resize in Win10 Photos app. I just need to go one by one, and after the latest unexpected and unavoidable Windows update our laptop got so slow, so that's why it takes forever, Other than that it resizes them to a pretty good size.

Your number one seedling is my favorite. Beautiful color, good form, fantastic edges. I hope it grows as well as it looks.....All of your daylilies are nice, but I think your seedlings take the show on this round of photos.....Maryl

You surely do have some blooms! Of course, I love Indy Red, but I love reds. You still have a lot of nice ones.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments on the seedlings. I'm trying to get some late ones so I've been pleased to see them still blooming. All but the last one still have at least one more bud.
Rita, I know you like the yellow/gold ones.
Nancy, my Indy Rhapsody is about done too. This might have been the last bloom--either last or next to last.
I'm very pleased with seedling number 4. It's a first year seedling and keeps looking better every time it blooms.

Seedling #3 is a second year and I'm amazed that it had two scapes on one fan and a decent bud count. None of its siblings were nearly as good.

maryl and Rita, seedling 1 is a second year seedling and I really didn't remember it from last year, but this year it has very good branching and bud count. Hope it continues.

avedon, Elegant Finale is one of my favorite lates. It's well named. It does look elegant and has good branching and bud count.

Kay, I love red too and Indy Rhapsody is a beautiful shade of red. It's way taller than its registered height though so I need to move it out of the front row!
