Just walk away from Lemon Juice, McT. HVX straight from the hybridizer. As beautiful as it was, it was diagnosed immediately after I got it. Positive test result. Not worth the risk on this one. I'd love to have it, too. Luckily, I noticed it immediately and nothing else was infected.

peren- thanks, that’s good to know because I have a bunch of them planted along a path, and I do want them to grow together and fill in, but if that had been one single plant I was going to to get nervous...lol, a bit like when I ordered clausa var. clausa... then realized it was going to be waaaay too much for the space. I gave that clausa to my neighbor, who has a large, shady area that needs fillIng. I realize though I’ll probably have to keep the LLs in check at some point, but that’s a long way off.

That is a cute hosta, but I do not think it is Little Sunspot. Little Sunspot is a sport of Little Aurora, a gold. From the Hosta Library:

"The 3" x 2" medium gold leaves have a highly variable flat medium green margin. The leaves are dull on top and waxy underneath. They are ovate with a rounded base and slightly cupped."

Yours looks liek a blue/white combination with a LOT more substance than Little Sunspot.

Hmmm.... I ordered 3 Little Sunspots for edging from Direct Source, and love them, but locally saw the much larger pot of "whatever" labeled Little Sunspot and bought it because it looked so healthy. Whatever it is, I like it a lot. I thought the difference was because of age. Ah well...now the guessing game begins.
