Hosta L 2013 (No Lakesides)
Comments (52)Forgot about Little Ralph. It's just plain green, but has lovely striped flowers. This post was edited by MadPlanter1 on Mon, Jan 20, 14 at 3:00...See MoreHosta L 2012 (No Lakesides)
Comments (37)Hostanista, you picture of lancifolia in bloom is awesome! I don't have lancifolia, but it is ON THE LIST And I'm pleased to see another Little Jay, which I like. It is the reverse variegation of Verna Jean, a very strong growing smaller hosta. As well, I got a second Lemon Lime because of the pictures of it seen on here....think it was the same photo that was posted several months back? It seems to be able to fill in bare spots quickly. I got two Little Sunspots this summer, and cannot wait for it to do its best, and then there is my new love, Luna Moth. Just so it looks like Irawon's I'll be happy. Some cool pictures coming up in the "L" section! Here are the rest of mine. Lederhosen....I accidentally have two, only bought one in May 2010, and then a NOID from that same shipment from PDN seems to be a second Lederhosen instead of the plantaginea I ordered.....strange things happened on that order. So here are two different Lederhosen with two different colors: both blooming, in the foreground Lemon Lime #1 from Savory's #2 from Hornbaker Little Jay surrounded by Verna Jeans and maybe some White Doves? hmmmm.... Little Sunspot (I will upload it to Flickr later....can't believe I ignored it this whole year!) Little White Lines Liverpool White....late late after October it arrived. It is upper right side. Longissima Love Pat....it came late this year too Lucy Vitols...she's the one in the shiny big green pot, a lot of eyes with this girl when it arrived in late September. Luna Moth, from my last order to Hallson for October delivery This post was edited by moccasinlanding on Mon, Jan 21, 13 at 20:57...See MoreHosta L 2015 No Lakesides
Comments (65)Sorry to interrupt the flow hh, I know you said Independence Day was your favorite subtle and it is terrific but I sure hope Laura Lanier is near your tops. She has a very lovely subtle coloration!...See MoreHosta L 2017 NO Lakesides
Comments (39)Beth, Candy Dish can be a good looking hosta, I've seen some pretty ones here, but it does need more attention from whatever slug deterrence you choose to use. Plant it somewhere you know you'll remember it. I hope to do better with my CD next year. Pampered Peeps, yes those little spots are from frost damage. That's why I wanted to point that out when I posted the pic because it could look like something else. It's on the SW side of the house where the hostas come up first, so several in that area were affected this year. ...sick of winter, yes I am, too! We're getting more snow right now....See Morealmosthooked zone5
