WBIYG? (July edition...)

so, what's blooming in your garden?

***

nicki's garden was FULL of amazing big, vibrant blooms. inspired me to go out and photograph some of mine...

it's a tough time in FLA. but here are some pics of what looks good in my garden. i'd love to see pics of what's blooming where you are...

mr lincoln, mixing it up with ornamental bananas and 'purple knight' alternathera

gads, i can't for the life of me remember what this bulb is... i just planted it six weeks ago... pretty thing! somebody help me remember!

'our lady of guadalupe'

desert sun zin. it's a mildew resistant and very vigorous zin that can't get enough sun.

'abraham darby' about to put out a major flush. my favorite rose, tho a little prone to blackspot.

who'd have though i';d still have foxglove ('foxy') blooming in late july?

kumquat. love the smell! they will bloom anytime of the year that they put on significant new growth...

so many butterflies! skippers, admirals, zebras, swallowtails...

my ogr corner. noisettes, teas and bermaudas...

yellow sunrose. much more vigor than most sunroses (ice plants)... cindeea -- you have a big plant and a bunch of cuttings coming your way this week! (and porterweed and some cool bulbs to make up for my tardiness!)
