Susan Weber is lovely. You seem to,have quite a few edge no eye daylilies. How does this one perform? Cherokee Star looks like a nice one--a red that holds its color is always nice.
Both of your seedlings look great. I especially like the first one with the blue gray eye zone and edge.
Your kitties always steal the show.

SUSAN WEBER is always such a beauty.I always look forward to seeing mine bloom...TIFFANY SHADE, is one I don't remember seeing before.its really lovely bloom.
DIVINELY BLESSED is a very pretty one, too
CHEROKEE STAR is a beauty and my favorite today, too.
love the seedlings, too, especially that first one. and the kitties are so pretty, relaxing in the garden.

Kay - I really like Wheel of Time. I think the colors in my photo are a little off. I darkened it trying to get the peach/orange petal color right. In doing so, I make the eye color look more gray than purple. Roxanna - I got August Cherry in a trade. But I know where you can buy it. Harmon Hill Farm has the lowest price, and it's also available at Partridge Hill Gardens. Both have online websites. Nate - The scape on my Wheel of Time has four-way branching and 22 or 23 buds, so I'm a happy camper. The flower doesn't seem to open fully here until later in the morning. Maybe yours will do better next year when it's all settled in and comfy. Debra

Thanks Brad! Once I discovered the more I divided the Into the Mystic seedling, the more it multiplies, then I was able to register it. Nancy - Warm in Winter looks great about 75% of the time. With low night temps, it can have problems opening and tends to canoe. I don't have anything negative to say about Blood of the Martyrs. It always opens well and 95% of the time has cllean blooms. It' pold and pollen fertile too! Kate - Tides Roll In doe have a lot of bells and whistles. The drawback is the muddy petal color when night temps are low. Sherry - I really look forward to seeing the August Frost seedling next year when it's blooming as a clump. Debra

Thanks everyone for the nice comments on the near white seedling. I look forward to seeing how that one does next year. Kate - The Cowgirl Spurs seedling does look promising. With our weather conditions this year, it doesn't have much of a plant under it. We'll see how it does in future years. I have around 10 seedlings from the White Tooth X Skater cross. While this one does have the largest bloom and the widest edge, it's not one of my top favorites in the group. It's hard to evaluate the seedlings this year or make selections because the lack of rain caused lower bud counts and branching. Nancy - I agree that the Last Chance for Romance flowers were lined up like can-can dancers. Wheel of Time does have a lot of colors in it. Julia - Last Chance for Romance just started blooming last week. It has 15 scapes and lots of buds, so it should be blooming for most of August. Kay - Thanks for the comments on the seedlings! Maryl - Thanks for your comments. I thought the color on Zuzu's Treasure was especially good for this time of year. Lightning Round does have a pretty edge. Debra

Doesn't matter at all if we've seen them. Delinquent Doll. and Mango Crush are pretty pinks with nice edges. Nice bright colors with Raggedy Man, I like I'm Glad Cows Don't Fly the colors are really nice. Ruffled Strawberry Parfait X Sonoran Desert Rose. siblings are both nice, but I like the second one best. Very nice late post, Nancy. kay

Val - Susan Weber is a marginal performer here, but it's beautiful and a late, so it stays in the garden.

Chris and Jean - I got Tiffany Shade two falls ago at the same time I got Allegheny Skyline and Cool Hand Luke. It was hurt much more by the drought than those two, which performed admirably this season. It has short scapes with 8 or 9 buds this season. And it's in a bed that was watered more during the drought than the other two.

Jean and Val - I recently got Cherokee Star planted in a bed. It had been in a large pot with All American Chief since I got it as a bonus from Irongate five years ago. The beautiful red color is always welcome late in the season when not much else is blooming. It held it's color in 96 degree temps and awful humidity yesterday.

Love that Susan Weber the more I see photos of it. I also really like your two seedlings you did a great job on those two. For me though the two cats steal the show.

The cats are adorable. Tuxie has a look that invites petting...do looks deceive?
I especially like Susan Weber. I can't decide whether I like your first or second seedling the best. I would be proud of either of them.

Hmmm... I commented on this early this morning, but I don't see it - I guess I must not have hit the button for a second time. Anyway, I like your two seedlings the best and always enjoy seeing your gypsy cat pictures. How long have the cats been with you now, has it been three years or more than that?

Twix - The gypsy cats have been with me for three years. It amazes me the four who live outdoors are all still alive and so darn healthy. They are healthier than Cowgirl, who lives in the house with me. Thanks for liking my seedlings!

Kay - Tuxie always enjoys being petted, unlike some of her offspring. She even takes breaks from eating to get petted. When I first met her, she didn't understand petting very well and would try to bite me when I petted her. Tuxie's come a long way in three years. Tuxie enjoys following me around in the garden more than the other cats. But when she follows me, the others follow her. It's amazing how much these grown up cats still love their mama.
