I have never heard of it, but we do mix a hot pepper spray to control animals and insects in the vegetable garden. Bobby usually makes a horrendous mess in the kitchen, leaving it to me to clean up, lol. He takes several HOT peppers, and throws them in the food processor to liquify. Strain, reserving liquid. Pour the pepper 'juice' in a bucket, add water and a few drops of liquid dish detergent. Pour into the sprayer and spray everything. Rain will wash it off, but it is easy to re-spray, if you need it. This is very effective. I would worry about my plants with the wax on them. Also, I am not sure what our heat would do to this product. Might be a mess, and might not work for me who does not like hot peppers! Very interesting, thanks! Janie

never heard of the wax. i do use some of my old powder around the plants to keep the for legged pest out of the graden when i first plant. does work except it brings the birds in and i lose one or two plants from them cliping it off dan let it burn
