You got that right that the FDA cannot be trusted! Look at all the products that drug companies have turned out that proved to be very harmful, including thalodomide, and how healthy can it be to inject botulism into your lips, but the "experts" all pronounced these drugs and treatments as "safe", they also recommended formula for babies over breast milk, and then there are the hormones and antibiotics that dairy cows are given, and that's just the tip of the iceberg. For years the researchers out on the fringes talked about free radicals and it sounded like somebody's fantasy, but, lo and behold, even the medical profession has had to acknowledge that it's been proven. It's a revolving door in D.C. anyway, from the AMA to corporations to the gov't. I didn't know that lycopene had been looked at for preventing prostate cancer- I've only heard of it in relation to colon cancer and that runs in my family, so I'm glad I like tomatoes! I do think it's really hard to get products that are truly natural or organic- there's so much pollution- the air, the land, the water. Sorry if I dinned your ears! I just turned 41 this last March, and my periods have been fairly light (3 days... With the usual Horrible Cramps, Tiredness, Sadness, Irritability, Cravings etc. forever now.) I just got over my last cycle about a week ago, and it was completely different this time. I had a heavy flow for 5 days, and spotted for like 3 days afterwards!!! The usual Breast Tenderness, Tired, Extremely Irritable this time, Bad Cramps, etc... I am now suffering from MAJOR Breast Tenderness on Both Sides, mainly on the sides where the top of my arms hit. I am so completely swollen on both sides here, that it actually feels and looks like I just had Breast Enhancement surgery... I am quite Busty anyway, so this isn't real welcoming!!! My Nipples are enlarged and just as painful as well!!! I've never been pregnant, and there is absolutely no chance that I am now. I've been completely Exhausted, and having major cravings for such unusual random things... Once Again... 100% sure that there is no Pregnancy!!! Where I am swollen, it's extremely firm and Lumpy!!!! This last period was so unusual this time, I'm wondering if I'm beginning Pre-Menopause, and what I should be expecting, and how to calm my Breasts down??? My Mom doesn't really remember going through anything like this while experiencing Menopause, so I'm glad that I located this Forum!!! I would appreciate any advice and Tips that you all may have.... I soumds like it was a wonderful, worthy and successful night. Your Hubs is the drummer?......hmm, I always was attracted to the drummer in a band. LOL. How nice that the organizers showed their appreciation for the band's donated talents, that they treated them so well. Back in the 50's my friend always knitted her Hub's ties. Unfortunately, she is gone.

haha, yes, sounds like a mutation, a 'normal' mutation. We have a clematis that does this kind of thing, with some petals deciding they prefer to be leaves and such things. I believe it's very common in Clematis. Never seen it in a water lilly Andy, but my guess is it's a mutation in only that flowerhead and when it dies the mutation will die with it. That's not to say it won't happen again!
