Another Use for Tomato Cages

I am always trying to plant something in the winter on top of the curcuma or dancing ladies that go decious because I forget they are there. So now I have been cutting the tomato cages with bolt cutters to make rings. I then put the rings over the plants. Then in the winter when I want to plant something, if there is a ring there I know not to plant there.

I also turn them upside down and with plastic tie wraps, wire the "feet" together. They make a good pyramid shape for annual vines to grow on.

What other uses do you have for them? ;o)
