We had lots of strong rain last night but most of the daylilies were looking good today.

LONGLESSON BALLAD. I wish you could tell from the picture how big this flower is.

PRECIOUS PROMISES from Karoll Emmerich. This one was begraggled today after the rain.

Not the best shot as this daylily was beaten up by all the strong rain we had last night but you can see the color. I love this daylily. WESTBOURNE SILVER LINING.

RUBY SHADOWS. For those who were asking about the Phil Korth daylilies, this one has more of a cream backround than PURIFY MY HEART.

ARNOLD'S DAUGHTER is one of those almost white backround daylilies from Phil Korth.

GRACE LIKE RAIN, another almost white backround daylily from Phil Korth.

FOR YOUR EYES ONLY. Most beaten up by the rain.

IN STYLE not bothered by the rain at all.

HEARTS OF FIRE was still quite wet but didn't care about the rain at all.

PEARLFISHER PINK

CHERRYSTONE

Great photos, Rita. I guess we northerners will just have to admire each other's photos now!

While it's not my "usual" type of daylily, Grace Like Rain really appeals to me. I think it just might make my very exclusive wish list.

Willow Dean Smith! Certainly got me to look up Rice's description. Sounds perfect! "This very special flower has creamy, porcelain pink petals with an increasingly dark rouge infusion on her ruffled edge. The substance is heavy for such a feminine flower. This flower is a premium addition to any garden. Named after a beautiful woman who is greatly missed. Large 6 to 6.5 inch flowers bloom in the mid late season. Scapes are 36 inches with 4 to 5 branches. Plants are vigorous and hardy evergreens with exceptionally clean dark green foliage. TET Double fan" Since the parentage wasn't listed, I checked AHS. Odd is, it's registered as a dormant?! Fear Not is such a beauty. I also really like Tower of Bable. In fact, you have a lot of really pretty ones still. Super Mama, cosmic Traveler and Yellow Titan are all great. We just need to survive this year. (except Rita, and here foliage is unreal lovely, not brown, and scruffy like mine) kay

DEBRA: Thank you for the comment and looking, PANDORA"S TREASURE does have a wider edge then it did with the last blooms. NANCY, Did you have the darker pink like this one,(Mandevilla vine?). I have had the light pink and the red before only because I couldnt get this darker pink at the time, and I didnt have a good luck with the other colors at all, but, have never failed to have a gorgeous fast growing vine with this darker pink.My daughter didnt have good luck with the red one or the light pink, either, but she has a beautiful dark ppink like I have.Dont know what difference it makes, but its just been my observation of the other colors. jean

I am actually surprised that I still have this much bloom left. Still its really winding down now so I am very hopeful that I DO get rebloom to keep my season going.

Grace like Rain still looks good and the color of Rosey Rhino stands out.

Looks as if you have a lot left. Enought to keep me going for awhile. I still see some buds left.

Rita - Yay for you on the rebloom scapes! I just got back home after 7 days with my mom in the hospital, and with temps in the mid-90s here and no watering, several of my rebloom scapes are dead and brown. I do have a few that are still looking OK. Ricter should start reblooming tomorrow!

I'm liking all of your Phil Korth Daylilies, and what a nice bloom on Rosy Rhino! It took three years for my RR to look like that, so you're ahead of the game. I think In Style and Cherrystone are very pretty, too!

My ROSEY RHINO has been blooming away but I know that this is by far the best bloom it has had. It just might be another one for me like JUNE HUDSON, which just can not get out good blooms. I am going to move June Hudson and give ROSEY RHINO more time.

The rebloom scapes were a very pleasant surprise. Now I am hoping for more rebloom scapes.

And here is RHOSEY RHINO again today, looking pretty good. I had just about decided to toss it and then I get a nice bloom like this. Don't know what to do.

GRACE LIKE RAIN and Cherrystone are my two faves out of this bunch... very pretty. I REALLY hate it when flowers bloom ugly... all that waiting for nada! But, I have to be patient with some of my flowers... they are new. If they keep blooming ugly after three years - goodbye sweetheart! Thanks for sharing your blooms!

Ruby Shadows and Grace Like Rain are my favorites out of the group, although it was hard to choose, they're all so lovely. Just think....this winter you can view all those blooms in a slide show when it's dreary outside.
