These pictures are ones I took Tuesday morning before the big rain. Finially downloaded them today. I didn't get to it sooner LOL!

WILLOW DEAN SMITH and MOTHER KNOWS BEST in the backround.

SECOND MILLENIUM did a really weird thing and every bloom was double. Never happened before and I don't like it one bit.

KENDORA WILDFIRE is a Culver intro new for me this spring.

GIFT FROM HEAVEN had another of those really, really strange poly fused blooms. I have had it for years, never did this before and this year has been throwing these strange looking blooms often.

RUBY LIPSTICK TWINS. Thise is the best it has looked so far. Looking like Debra's pictures of RUBY LIPSTICK finially.

Beautiful lilies Rita. I really like the last three. What is poly fused blooms? I have seen you mention it before but I have no clue. I do grow lilies but I know none of the technical terms everyone uses on the forum. I really should study up better but tooooo lazy. lol!! Judy

Wow! That first photo with Willow Dean Smith and Mother Knows Best is really breathtaking. I adore that combo! As a bioolor fan, I'm wild about Kendora Wildfire. I know you don't care for polys, but I think that poly on Gift from Heaven looks spectacular. And I think the last one is the best - so glad to see Ruby Lipstick has finally shaped up for you. Those two blooms with their red valentine hearts look gorgeous.

Very beautiful Lucy!!! I like the way you did your collage too. Sorry you are having problems with your computer! Don't do what I did. I got so mad and frustrated with my laptop that I dropped my pen very hard (I really didn't throw it) and the tip hit my screen and ruined it. It looked like an etch a sketch that was erased. I can only use it plugged into a monitor. So I treat my other laptop very nicely as I want it to last. LOL!!! Hope you had a nice Thanksgiving! Joyce

Sorry, one of my infamous typos. Its APACHE WAR DANCE. The thing is I proof read these things and I still don't notice the typos. If anyone loves hot colors and wants late bloom, this one is deffinately for you. CAKE PLATE is probably very hard to find, I never even heard of it until I saw it on the Lily Auction. I bought it because I wanted more late bloomers. Its just starting bloom and is going to work out well I think.

Rita, No, I don't yet have Mount Ararat. I love her Karol's plants, not only for the beauty, but because they have been blooming machines with wonderful re-bloom. I had to find Coronation Day because she said she would not have it again until 2014. I actually bought a second on the auction since it was so reasonable. That may be one I can send you a piece of in a year or so if you don;t have it. You have to be careful about southern gardens., but I have never had rust here (knock on wood) kay

Rita - Yay for you on the rebloom scapes! I just got back home after 7 days with my mom in the hospital, and with temps in the mid-90s here and no watering, several of my rebloom scapes are dead and brown. I do have a few that are still looking OK. Ricter should start reblooming tomorrow! I'm liking all of your Phil Korth Daylilies, and what a nice bloom on Rosy Rhino! It took three years for my RR to look like that, so you're ahead of the game. I think In Style and Cherrystone are very pretty, too! Debra

Debra- I think they go together really well. Of course placement was an accident, I really didn't plan it. And I think RUBY LIPSTICK just must have needed to settle in. I love the way it looks on these last blooms.

Judy- Polys are when the daylily throws these extra pedals. It does make the flower look quite different. It happens only very occasionly, someones one doesn't see poly blooms for years. Fused is like looking at one flower pasted on top of another. Also really weird.

Thanks for the info Rita. I have had one or two throw out more petals than they usually have but not real often. I have had those other lilies, Asiatic (the tall ones on straight canes), that have done that too. They really look pretty though. Judy

Ruby Lipstick is a beauty. Also llove that first photo. Rita, I've had more polys than usual this year. Maybe the wacky weather causes it more.

So there are more polys than usual this year. Singles are doubleing and doubles are singleing. I truely am not a big fan of doubles. So when I saw that SECOND MILLENIUM had every bloom double like that I thought it was truely very, very weird.

YEP the first pic is definitely the winner in my eyes! I had to add Gift From Heaven to my wish list thanks to you and your beautiful pics.
Second Millennium is registered as a double, so it should double. What I find funny is that yours does what it is supposed to by doubling, mine has only bloomed as double once in the years I've had it. This is last years photo of it, I'm thinking it is time for it to go bye bye.

Willow Dean Smith! Certainly got me to look up Rice's description. Sounds perfect!
"This very special flower has creamy, porcelain pink petals with an increasingly dark rouge infusion on her ruffled edge. The substance is heavy for such a feminine flower. This flower is a premium addition to any garden. Named after a beautiful woman who is greatly missed. Large 6 to 6.5 inch flowers bloom in the mid late season. Since the parentage wasn't listed, I checked AHS. Odd is, it's registered as a dormant?! I've been noticing a few cultivars lately that have contradicting info.

I just love that first picture, both of them so delicately lovely. Dankie has that same delicate beauty that I love. KENDORA WILDFIRE is gorgeous too though, I like its bright color & watermark. I always like ruby Lipstick & Gift from Heaven. I usually like doubles, but doubling seems to detract a bit from this one I think.
