This weekend's offerings:

WILD CHERRY ROUNDUP, not as big as it should be, but still pretty:

CLAUDINE'S CHARM -- I wish this had a better bud count here, but the bloom is always beautiful:

ROMAN COHORT -- A prolific bloomer over a long period:

MICHAEL MILLER -- Not a great bud count, but always near-perfect blooms:

AUTUMN MEMORIES -- Great flower, but is going to get shipped out if it doesn't get a better bud count:

CLOWN'S CABARET, a top performer:

LAKE LURE, one of the best performers in the garden:

SWEDISH GIRL, another good performer:

ORANGE VELVET, one of the daylilies that's been here the longest (and deserves to be):

BEST KEPT SECRET, because sometimes those oldies really stand out:

I'm saving all the Hanson pics for a separate post.

Those are all nice, BKS is a good oldie!! Clown's Cabaret is a stand out, gotta look that one up. Thanks for posting. What's behind the Orange Velvet??, looks like bee balm, not sure though, makes a really nice color combo.

Beautiful as always. My favorites would be WILD CHERRY ROUNDUP and SWEDISH GIRL. In my garden WILD CHERRY ROUNDUP is one of the low budcounts (about 6 per scape) and just stays here because the flowers are so pretty.

Beth, I'm interested in your experience with Dark Desire as well. I also saw it was highly recommended on Roses Unlimited. I believe the owner has 5 of them in pots around the porch or deck. I found several at Lowe's the other day. I have a spot in the garden where a Rose of Sharon has been hanging on for dear life the past year or more. I'm debating replacing it with Dark Desire, a different rose or maybe another rose of sharon. Dark Desire seems it's classified as a hybrid tea one place and a grandiflora another. I haven't seen any pictures of the whole bush yet, and I don't have much experience growing roses other than floribundas or some shrub roses. Would you be kind enough to comment on your experience growing it? I'm curious about the height/growth habit of Dark Desire and whether it might make a good landscape rose with sufficient number of blooms. I've read that it is very healthy and fragrant. I don't cut roses, so that's not real important to me. Your Rainbow Sorbet and Eau Vive blooms are stunning.

You have some very nice large flowered daylilies. My favorites from this group are Noble Lord and Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. I always enjoy seeing the sepals quill on Astral Voyager, and Festive Fall is a very distinctive orange.

Hi, Kentucky! Thanks. Do you have any pictures of Heritage? It’s a beautiful rose. My Savannah is in its first season, the bush is very healthy, I also have a new Beverly, I have them both in pots, they’re acting about the same, both healthy. They've both set on quite a few single petaled blooms recently, which is probably due to the heat. Savannah has had some beautiful blooms recently also, but not a huge number. In the spring it produced some beauties. I’m hoping it will get with the program, it’s really lovely and I love the fragrance!

Julia, the hydrangea is another rescue plant from a big box store’s ”neglect and die’ rack. That is true of so many plants in my garden! It is now five feet tall-I will try to remember to post a pic when it is in full bloom.

Ah Chris,
You pictures are gorgeous! I love Best Kept Secret, Swedish Girl, and Lake Lure...so pretty, but Clown's Caberet is my pic of these...and they are hard to choose among.

Great photos. LL looks so much like SOVEREIGN QUEEN. BEST KEPT SECRET and CLOWN'S CABARET have a nice color to them.

Fantastic photo's and all are just gorgeous. My favorite is WILD CHERRY ROUNDUP ,but I just love CLAUDINE'S CHARM,too, andMICHAEL MILLER IS ALWAYS SO BEAUTIFUL, too.SWEDISH GIRL is gorgeous..

They are all beautiful so I'll go with the performers since that's my "thing" and pick Roman Cohort and Lake Lure.

Those are all beautiful. I love the daylilies with those colors-are they called watermarks? That is a great picture of Autumn Memories, lovely color & I like that sculpted look. I could just keep going here, they are all just splendid.

Cindy, that is bee balm in the photo with ORANGE VELVET. It grows in many spots of my garden and always seems to look good with whatever daylily is blooming.

They are all wonderful but I love BEST KEPT SECRET and Orange Velvet with the purple Monarda in the background is fabulous.
