sources to buy jasmine sambac arabian nights plant
Comments (5)3 weeks ago I went ahead to order 2 jasmine sambac arabian nights from TT in Florida. I got tiny less than 1ft tall plants. The plants look sick and leaves started turning yellow, when I checked th leaves they have these eggs in the back. I treated them with neem oil and all leaves fell off and I expected that anyway. Since new growth is shooting, I think they will be ok. I was so upset with the order and emailed them on this pest issue. They have not responded so far. I have ordered from them before way back in 2003, at that time their gallon size plants are 2-3ft healthy plants not these tiny plants with pests. Well I was mentally prepared on what size to expect at the time of order itself but did not expect bugs and leaves with eggs. Pokala, I cannot email you through gardenweb can you give your email adress so that I can respond to you....See MoreIf you had to choose one Jasmine....
Comments (58)Yeah, Robert you gave me a fright! I was in the garden the moment I saw your message with swabs and alcohol and what not, Lol. I sighed in relief when it was dirt only (sigh). Better be safe than sorry. I was checking your photo again and my Jasmines buds have nothing to do with yours Robert. Yours are plump and roundish, while mine are elongated. I'm looking forward to see multiple flowers open :-)...See MoreJasmines from India
Comments (83)Angel Face, I got a surprise when I saw jasmine blooms in our home in India last month. I planted these 4 jasmine plants almost 17 years back when I was in India after that I rarely saw them bloom. This time I stayed long enough observe these Jasmines and one of the Jasmine flower looks almost same as your Jasmine plant (pictures on your June 19, 2015 posting), Here are the pictures Below are pictures of other Jasmines Not sure of the variety/cultivar name, Flowers from this Jasmine is little different than the flowers from above posted Jasmine and also leaves look different as well. This seems to be Arabian Jasmine I think this is Madurai Malli From Left to Right 1. Not sure of the variety 2. Arabian Jasmine 3. Madurai Malli 4. I think Jasmine flower similar to the one you have...See MoreMali Chat from Alohatropicals
