Those are new leaves and some Ariel roots but I can feel the bloom in near future.

Jan-Found a trellis for my Hoya. Repotted the other one and brought it outside. Gave it a basket so it can twine around the handle. Seeing them beside eack other makes me think they are two different kinds, now. The smaller one has larger, longer leaves and not as many together as the larger plant. What do you think?

The small plant look like H pubicaylx pink silver, larger one looks like carnosa or different H. pubicalix. It's easier to ID the flowers. I think they will encourage each other to grow and flower sooner.

Jan thanks, now that you mention H pubicaylx, I remember...Also The other from Linda Leaf IS carnosa. I had lost the tag but I remember the name after seeing it again. Going to tag them right now until they bloom-for-cripes-sake, and we can get a positive ID.

Hey Jan, is Hoya Rubra same as Krimson Queen? I found a Rubra at Wally World today with roots bursting outta the little 4" pot. For $3.94 I thought it was a good buy. They look similar, but different. I am sure Rubra is more common than the Queen.

Cindee, rubra is Krimson princess, the leaves are more variegated then KQ. They both are very common.

Coolest! The Rubra I got today seems to have thicker curled leaves. Now I have 2! But my fav will always be the one from you!!!
