Nice group of daylilies! I really like Lullabye Baby, she looks so delicate. I bought Pocket Change last fall and am waiting for it to flower. Heavenly Starfire is also a favorite.

Heavenly Starfire is big and striking. You certainly have a lot of Brilliant Circle.

Hi everyone, It has been downpouring all day so I'm glad I got pictures when I did! The clematis look like soggy kleenex and some of the vines let go in the wind. It's supposed to keep on pouring so all those roses opening are mush and the gorgeous peony blooms are laying in the mud. Fortunately I did snap some pictures yesterday and I'm going to do another post real soon. I appreciate all your warm and enthusiastic responses! Kay...it could very well be H.G. Young but I never knew the name. It was a mislabel from one of the big box stores and was supposed to be Jackmanii which it obviously isn't. Rita...I have pretty much exhausted my land of rocks after making so many rock beds. Now I'm getting them from Dad's land and carrying them in the car, much to DH's displeasure. I just love rocks so much and I like a natural look in my garden. It's not professional or perfect since the rocks I dig up are round and not great for stacking and I don't use cement, I just stack them. As you can see, they come in all colors, shapes & sizes. Jean...that is a heartbreaking story about your clematis. Goodness, your mother sounds a little like mom (before she got the Alzheimers). Why is it mothers think they own OUR things too? Debra...they can be finicky here too. Sometimes one part of the vines will just turn limp and die, for no apparent reason. They seem to like my climate and I've always had good luck with them other than the wilting once in awhile. Val...thank you. Seems like my 'unknown' blue one is the winner today. Julia...I have never had these clematis bloom this early. What a weird year it has been so far. I even have roses blooming already that don't start until the 3rd week in June most years. I have quite a lot more clematis that are quite a way from blooming so I look foward to them hopefully bloom when they normally do. Rena...so glad you enjoyed them. I have some other pretties to share and will post them tomorrow. Christine...LOL. What I love about this forum is that we are all from different zones across the country so we all get to enjoy more than just one spring and summer. Nat....that bloom is what I refer to as a 'cheat' bloom. It was bought potted up through the mail so it came from a greenhouse. I also have some daylilies starting to bloom or sending up scapes that came from Maryott last fall so they're confused, thinking they're still in California. Celeste

they are all very pretty. Your first unknown looks like a Siloam, but I am going to have to do some searching to come up with a name. I have added at lot of lavenders this Spring, but I need to add Dragon Dreams to my list. Thank you. Jane

It's going on a week now with this goofy picture posting problem and unless they get it solved by Friday night we've got the "weekend" crew (if there is one) back again and they were a big help before....... Anyway, on to your postings: The red orange one is my favorite. Good color retention in the PM, particularly if the PM was hot. So hard to find a deep color like that in the heat. Instant Celebration has been looking really good Mister Mayor - one of my top 10 for sure Sweet Isabela has been really impressive this year - glad I moved it out of the jungle so I can appreciate it. I'm pretty sure this one has several fans with two scapes also. Arnold's Daughter - sorry can't reach this one to deadhead, I took this pic over the 'fence' looking into the long bed Pigment Of Imagination Armed For Battle - not a great pic, but I can't reach it and have to zoom Angels In The Clouds Mars Attacks Mean Green - this plant is impressive - tall and tons of buds. Morning color Mean Green - This is a pic on a different day, later in the day Well, that's another 10 and I still have tons to go. I'll call it a day and try to do another post when I can. Rule No. 1--there are never too many photos---LOL. Heavenly Starfire is a standout, but I think this is the best picture I have seen of Starman's Quest--look at that green throat!. Avedon

Starman's Quest is my favorite. However I also like the cherry red color of Wolfpack Kids and Pocket Change.

Really loving Heavenly Starfire and Starman's Quest! Starman's Quest just has such a unique color. I bought it this year, but it doesn't look like it will bloom until next year....I guess I'll impatiantly wait :(

Brilliant Circle and Wolfpack Kid are my picks. I think I need to get both so I can plant them right next to each other.

Looking again, I love Pocket change and Heavenly Starfire...in fact all the reds and part reds.

Heavenly Starfire does have a very impressive flower and the plant has increased well for me.

Starman's Quest has been quite slow to establish here. I've always liked the flower, but this is the first year it has had a decent number of blooms.

Lullaby Baby does look delicate, but it's a great plant with lots of blooms.

Wolfpack Kid was another that took a couple of years to get going, but once it did it's been fabulous as you can see from the buds in the picture.

Pocket Change has always been a consistently good performer and I really like the little white edge on it.

Nat--American Freedom does occasionally hang up here, but most of the time it looks great.

I have Brilliant Circles and mine didn't do well this year so far. I moved it last fall and I'm wondering if it is pouting a bit.
I do like Wolfpack Kid and will go and look that one up.
Does Pocket Change always have the whitish/cream edging on it?

Never to many photos after all we always need our fix of gorgeous daylilies and you have a group of winners here I especially like the looks of Pocket Change and Starman's Quest.

Julia, my Brilliant Circle has been in the same spot for quite a while. Don't remember whether or not it took a while to settle in. Always has a good bud count for me 20-30+.
Pocket Change usually has a white edge, but not always. Sometimes it's just a very thin edge.
I don't think Wolfpack Kid is very widely distributed. I got mine from Lakeview Daylily Farm in North Carolina. It's by a N.C. hybridizer. I just checked and they have it listed for sale.
