Comments (0)I'm in zone 8b outside of Savannah, GA and would like to buy an avocado plant that would make it through the winter here. It's our first time in this area, so I'm not sure exactly what the winter temperatures are, but the reports make it seem as though the typical low is above freezing. Of course, the weather patterns are changing all over the world, so I know there's no guarantees, but I'm willing to get it a go. Any recommendations for variety and places to buy?
