I don't even want to list all of what I got this yr. It's scary. I wasn't even supposed to order hardly any this time around, because I really am running out of room. But, like always, I end up blowing it and ordering more than I should've. But my favorites of the new roses so far (some still haven't bloomed) are by far EASY DOES IT and FABULOUS. Both started off with a huge bang, and are looking to be good, healthy growers and bloomers from now on. EASY DOES IT rivals one of my favorites (REMEMBER ME) with gorgeous deep orange blended blooms that last a long time. And FABULOUS was a sort of afterthought. I had already gotten one order from Pickering, and then found what a beauty this rose was on HMF, so had to order it (along with a few others). So glad I did! It's going to be one beautiful bush when it reaches its full potential. But then, Poulsen roses are always good ones! EASY DOES IT FABULOUS

In the past few years I have been reading post and seeing gorgeous pictures. Because of that, I have been buying quite a few daylilies. Last night I went thru my list, in preparation for my new beds, and suddenly realized I have 40 daylilies. I actually have more tall ones than I thought! (Always room for more tho right?) Most of my tall ones are purple tho, the color of royalty, but I wanted something another color to set them off. Nancy - I'll have to look up Firefly Frenzy, Lady Neva is already on my 'to get' list. ngraham - I just bought BE, WH and ED has been here 2 years. I'll look up the others. honalee - I saw Yellow Pinwheel on the site I usually order from. It's gorgeous! Dani - I've been considering South Seas. I ordered a few oranges last year but SS isn't really orange is it? Thanks for the advice everyone. Marg

No soil yet, I have a few more places to check on. It is still a little too hot to put them in the ground yet. They are all doing really good in their pots under the tree. I have till the end of October to get them in the ground. We don't usually get a freeze till mid December, if then. Thanks everyone for the nice comments, I am sure it will look good too. I was walking my yard one evening trying to figure out a new bed and I turned around and looked at this spot and just saw everything so clear, so I am gonna dive right in and do it. Sharon

i really appreciate the kind compliments; i put one heckuv an effort into a meticulous little oasis of plants and such. i think next spring i am going to dig out some of the less flashy hostas and donate them to the neighbours; i sense that i am turning into a bit of a collector on the low end of the food chain. lol. i am always keeping my eye out for the right hosta at the right price in the right condition. the heuchera bud is starting to bite as well and i will need to make room for that too.
