I thought you may like to see that sometimes you do get what you pay for.

I have been impressed with these beautiful cultivars, some other new ones have not been as nice as these. I have been disappointed with some new ones and hope they improve.

Well, I'm definitely impressed with Sense of Wonder. I'm usually not one for most eyed daylilies, but I like the subtle eye on that one.

Yes I use a trellis system on my small plot of dahlias because they are in front of my house I don't like the look of a stake garden in MAY and early June. It has worked good for me in the past but huricane irene snapped the wire trellis and i had to improvise some fishing line. I probally got alittle greedy this year with how many i planted in such a small area too. #2 I got allie white from steve Thomas a friend of mine and the dahlia guru at our society. #3 kenora wildfire was easy to grow for me although did not make the same huge flowers I have seen at dahlia shows still and awesome red. I also like drummerboy same red but more decorative.

I just love that BRAZEN BANDIT.That is really loud and pretty. and i was thrilled to see BARNEY.i Also have barney this year, too, and he has 2 scapes so far.I love BARNEY and cant hardly wait till mine has a bloom, too, but,in the meantime,i would love seeing all of your Barney blooms,and everything else in bloom, too... Hard to beat Autumn Wood, but I also like the sweet uncomplicated beauty of the mini Rim shot. They are all nice. As a rose person who is on a quest for a daylily whose pink will be "rose" pink, I appreciate the fact that you compared the two different species. Rick's BPB sure looks to be a different shade then yours though doesn't it.

All very gorgeous with nice picture quality! Carding Mill is new for me also, but mine is even more of a baby than yours (having not produced a bloom yet)......I have high hopes for it, based on (I can't remember whose!) recommendation - and their pictures! California Dreamin' reminds me of Gemini or Diana, Princess of Wales. The Sunsation is very striking with the bright blooms and the lush, dark green foliage (lush, dark foliage gets me everytime!) They are all lovely. I was impressed w/ my first bloom on SOW too. She is a beauty. I especially like SMS. I think it's the name I like...LOL!! Very Nice!! Ellie

Great photos! Glad to see your Jitterbug Blues looks like mine. I emailed Phil Reilly my photo to make sure I had the right plant, but he never replied. Happy Holidays is just stunning. The combination of the red with the gold teeth is splendid!
