So far I'm really happy with my new daylilies this year. Here's photos of some that have been blooming the past few days.

What a great group of pinks. My Border Crossing never looked as good as yours. (If it did, I might not have given it away!) I think my favorite is Frosted Vintage Ruffles. Great photos.

Yes I use a trellis system on my small plot of dahlias because they are in front of my house I don't like the look of a stake garden in MAY and early June. It has worked good for me in the past but huricane irene snapped the wire trellis and i had to improvise some fishing line. I probally got alittle greedy this year with how many i planted in such a small area too. #2 I got allie white from steve Thomas a friend of mine and the dahlia guru at our society. #3 kenora wildfire was easy to grow for me although did not make the same huge flowers I have seen at dahlia shows still and awesome red. I also like drummerboy same red but more decorative.

And thanks for thinking my collection is nice already! I don't have the time to have pets right now, so my plants fill that role :).

Very Nice hoyas you have there. Amazing growth in one year, Great Job. I killed the first one I had like yours (1st pic) but I did take cuttings and they are ok so far and also found an EA at Lowes in 8" basket and bought it too. Haven't had it to long but hope I can keep this one alive I really love it. I agree with Kelly on the id's she gave you. Thanks for posting your pics amazing growth. shanna

Oh, I'm sooooo excited about Border Crossing!
Just planted mine last Fall, and I hope it blooms this year and looks as great as yours!

Another one that was on last year's wish list is Frosted Vintage Ruffles. Can't remember why I haven't purchased that one yet, but I sometimes have to limit my purchases to a certain amount, and that one was probably on my "sub" list for a particular vendor. BUT, I've added it to my wish list this year, with a STAR next to it, seein' as how beautiful YOURS is! (I LOVE edges w/o eyes!)

Thanks everyone - I'm glad you liked my photos! I love Border Crossing too - I was surprised to get such intense color when I just planted it a month and a half ago. Frosted Vintage Ruffles has beautiful diamond dusting in the sun! These are both dips - I know some people don't like dips, but a lot of my favorite daylilies are dips.

Here's a bloom today from another new dip I like a lot:

Autumn Wood (though it isn't as pretty as Jan's yet). The colors on this one just glow.

Such stunning photos Juliet! All of them just look Great! Border Crossing is awesome! My Blue Pink Beauty appears blue'r LOL (No such word)...hehehe....maybe it's the location/light or soil...Hmmmm Yours sure is Purdy! Thanks for posting all of these.....Very Nice!

Rick - I wonder if my Blue Pink Beauty will be a more intense color next year, once its had more time to settle. This is pink for me - my soil seems to make a lot of my pink daylilies peachy. I really like the color and form of BPB - I love so many of Stamile's daylilies! Here's a better photo from today without the bug damage on the sepals.

Love that Frosted Vintage Ruffles, so many colors just blended at the edges. Of couse I love Autumn Wood too. I planted that one last year because of Debra's pictures from last year and am waiting on scapes and blooms.

Juliet your daylilies are beautiful. Of course I have to give Border Crossing my top vote, but real close behind would be Frosted Vintage Ruffles and Blue Pink Beauty. I have Rim Shot & SMA, but they have not bloomed yet.

Hard to beat Autumn Wood, but I also like the sweet uncomplicated beauty of the mini Rim shot. They are all nice. As a rose person who is on a quest for a daylily whose pink will be "rose" pink, I appreciate the fact that you compared the two different species. Rick's BPB sure looks to be a different shade then yours though doesn't it.

Thanks again everyone! I don't know why Rick's Blue Pink Beauty is such a different color from mine. Maybe because mine is new or we have different soil? The form looks about the same to me so I think they're the same flower. Rick's actually looks almost purple to me. Does anyone else have BPB? What color is it for you?

My favorites are AUTUMN WOOD, BORDER CROSSING, and BLUE PINK BEAUTY. Really enjoyed all the pics....very nice.
