Amber, I am in Sarasota. It can stay in this pot for quite a while, so I will just hang on to it until one of us goes toward the other! I think it may benefit from familiar surroundings until it gets a bit larger, anyway. It is about 15-18 inches high and just starting to leaf out. I can see good roots out the bottom, though.

Hi Anita, Much to my surprise, my plants seem to have survived with minimal or no damage. Thanks for asking! How are yours? The Mulberries came from UC-Davis, as cuttings. I know nothing about them, except that I've never met a Mulberry I didn't like! I expect them to be trees, since they were not indicated as dwarfs. Most Mulberries are very large trees. I keep mine trimmed low so I get the fruits(G). I assume the Giant has very big/long fruits. As far as the doggies, yes, I've done agility with the Mastiffs, especially as a confidence builder for puppies. One of my 9 year-olds was the first Mastiff to win a Rally Obedience title! I had the first Ch CDX male Mastiff in breed history. He was very talented. Scoll down on the link below to see a picture of my Grand Champion male doing agility/lure coursing. Yogi was crazy about running the course and would scream, rear up and drag my husband to the starting gate. He would run until he dropped if we let him. I have a new puppy coming soon, that I plan to show and cart with. I can't wait!! Mastiffs LOVE cool weather. They even want to go swimming when it is cold. Marcia, I'd go with Persian Limes, Meyer Lemon and maybe variegated pink Lemon. I have all of them in containers on my patio, and they are wonderful! Lots of flowers/fruit, on trees only 18" tall. Try to get the $10, one gallon ones at Lowes. They are very nice, grow beautifully and you cannot beat the price. Sometimes they have Meyer Lemon and`Key Lime in the same pot, 2 for 1!!! The best Oranges I have in containers are Blood Oranges. They produce full sized fruit, but my trees are under 3' tall. Growing them as a shrub, not a standard, works best for containered citrus. You can keep Citrus in containers for many years. They sure are some of my favorites! Lisa

Ill, yes, spraying will prevent problems. Always spray oil when the trees are dormant to prevent insects from overwintering on them. Below is a pretty good spray schedule. I'm cutting back all my Peach/Nectarine/Plum trees now, by at least 1/3 of new growth. Mine are not well-leafed, since we had so few chill lours this past winter. Use your own judgement, I'm not good at pruning(G). I HIGHLY recommend Tropic Snow and Tropic Beauty Peaches. But, I've never tasted a home-grown Peach that wasn't superb!(G) I have all the low-chill ones available from Bay Laurel, and was thinking about ordering a few more.
