Chloecat, the "O' on my keyboard quit working, so I had to use the "0". S0 my p0sts l00ked like this! Shirley, and what a relief it is! Chemcurl, I bought a new one. We have a small computer repair shop up the road and they sell Dell products. Got a brand new one for $15 dollars, well, $15.90 with tax. Jasdip, I had 123 e-mails! I was able to delete a lot of them from stores where I've shopped and recipe posts. Azzalea, yes it was annoying. And I'm sure it was to anyone trying to read them, too!

Here's one for Spinach Enchiladas which also received excellent reviews: Spinach and Mushroom Enchiladas Prep Time: approx. 25 Minutes. Cook Time: approx. 25 Minutes. Ready in: approx. 50 Minutes. Makes 6 servings. Printed from Allrecipes, Submitted by OrtegaÂ® -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil 1 large peeled chopped carrot 1/2 cup chopped onion 1 clove garlic, finely chopped 3 cups chopped fresh spinach 2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms 2 (10 ounce) cans ORTEGA Â® Enchilada Sauce, divided 1/4 cup vegetable oil 12 (6 inch) corn tortillas 1 1/2 cups SARGENTO Â® Fancy Shredded Monterey Jack Cheese, divided Directions 1 PREHEAT oven to 350 degrees F. 2 HEAT 1 tablespoon vegetable oil in large skillet over medium-high heat. Add carrot, onion and garlic; cook, stirring frequently, for 3 to 4 minutes or until carrot is crisp-tender. Add spinach and mushrooms; cook for 2 to 3 minutes or until spinach is cooked through and mushrooms are soft. Stir in 1/2 cup enchilada sauce. Pour remaining enchilada sauce in small skillet; heat until warm. 3 HEAT 1/4 cup vegetable oil in separate small skillet over medium-high heat for 2 to 3 minutes. Pass tortillas, using tongs, through oil to soften; add more oil as needed. Place on paper towels to soak. maureeninmd I am pretty frugal and have this odd idea that everything I buy will be with me forever, so it better be perfect in every way - useful, beautiful, good quality, etc. I worked with a lot of design engineers. You learn to satisfice by learning to define requirements: what is the real problem you are trying to solve. Few things can be simultaneously useful, beautiful, durable, high-quality, affordable, and fit in the alloted space. You have to decide which of the qualities are most important at this moment, for this problem. The second part of satisficing is that when you have found the item you needed, you QUIT LOOKING! I found tile for a bathroom re-do that fit all my requirements: porcelain, in budget, blended with existing tile, and right size at the first of about 20 tile dealers. I bought it right then and tore up the list. Maybe out there was one that blended just a tiny bit better, or was a few cents cheaper, but it's not worth spending three days looking just in case. For my ski boots ... I went from one end of town to the other, and tried on every danged brand in my size in the entire resort area, because the ONLY thing that counted was comfort and I wasn't having much luck finding it.

I generally don't express this opinion because I am in the clear minority and unlike Patricia Colwell I don't feel a need to convince anyone that I'm right. And right off the bat I will have offended the many people who have chosen marble-look quartz for their kitchens. It's not personal. Your kitchens are lovely. Bear with me, though, because I'm going somewhere with this. I don't care for marble-look quartz, and I have yet to see any that I thought looked convincing (note to Lauren--I'm interested to know what products you thought looked convincing, not saying they aren't out there, just that I haven't seen them). The porcelain products look convincing. You know what else does a pretty good job of faking the pattern of marble? Laminate. It won't pass Patricia's hot pot test, and it won't pass for real marble because the edges of laminate counters always look like laminate no matter how good the pattern looks. But they create the pattern by taking a picture of real marble, so the patterns are actually quite good. Maybe laminate is too low-brow for your mom. Maybe her kitchen is so big that the pattern would have to repeat, which would undermine the effect. But maybe it will suit her needs. Wilsonart Calacatta Lincoln I thought was the most likely fit (below) but you could also look at Wilsonart Drama Marble and Anzio marble and maybe Formica Calacatta Cava. Just wanted to remind everyone, after all of our work, that we were granted a conversations forum and a gallery forum. We're all pretty good about using the conversations area (and we have a lot of fun on it) but I just wanted to see if we could all agree to use the gallery for our "Week of . . ." photos and our photos that we want to show to everyone. Personally, I love to go over to the gallery and see the fruits of all of our passion.

But, I also like to see the odd picture in the discussion forum here, that adds support to a question or a particular thread. Would everyone be in favor of only posting supporting pics here but putting all of our album pics over in the gallery? That way, we will know that most of our pictures are over there and that's where we would look for them later.

Thanks for the reminder, Shauna! :)

Lori, some of the new people are still not aware of the different areas (Konrad, for instance). He wouldn't have read this in the Conversations area because he didn't know it was there. But we're glad he found it!

Annie:- a gallery forum is a forum for pictures.
Near the top of the messages is a title "On-Topic Discussions [Switch to: Gallery : Conversations]"
Click on the words Gallery or Conversations to get to those forums.

And, as Shauna said, we don't have to limit our pictures to the gallery. Lots of times, we need to post some here to illustrate something - the nice curvey raised bed posted here today, for instance. Last year we started weekly picture threads and they got pretty picture-full! :) So hence the suggestion to keep these in the gallery.

Had to laugh last year when we got these new areas. "Conversations" is supposed to be for non-gardening topics, but we all had one question - "IS there any topic other than gardening??" LOL

Yes, sometimes we have Conversations that are supposed to be off topic but we end up talking about gardening anyway. LOL.
