I think I've been mixing up the parts! I know I had searched previously, but found a really good article today that really explains it well!!

If you want color all year you will need to plant shrubs as there are very few plants that bloom continuously so look for leaf coloration. To have bloom all season you will need to have a variety of plants not just a couple of varieties. Since you have lawn areas to be filled start looking for plants that will live for several years. Space them so that they can fill in the area. Then do under planting with annuals or other short lived plants. These will fill in the blank spaces why the other plants grow. Although you want info from a forum posters only post about plants that will grow in their area. They may not grow in yours not because of the silly zone thing but because they may have sand, clay, or bog conditions. What works for me does not work for a real plant person friend of mine that lives less than 5 miles away. Things to think about do you want just color or do you want scented flowers. Be aware that all flowers with the same name may not even smell. Do you have a preference in colors. Best of all what do you not like.

I don't know what that hinge is but all current Kraftmaid cabinets are framed construction. If yours are franed then the only way to remove doors from the cabinet is to unscrew the hinges. It's a little easier to remove the hinge from the box but be sure to support the door, which can be divided. The other way is to remove the door from the hinge while keeping the hinge attached to the box. Supporting the door is easier, the hinge cups will keep it in place. BUT, if you then close the hinges they can be tricky to open without a door attached. It can also be thick re- attaching the door. No fast easy way just work.

Yes, I did see the Slideology 101 on Accurides website. My slides didn’t fit any of the four examples they showed. So I’m thinking you are right, mine can’t be disconnected just like the pic you posted. I didn’t realize some are non disconnect but now at least I know. Thanks for the help!
