Good to be home despite the fact this was the most magnificent vacation we've ever taken. Someone asked me if anything in particular stood out and I replied, all the hours we were awake. The photos are as close as I could come to relate those feelings; words are thoroughly useless for what we saw.

But there's nothing like sleeping in your own bed after living in hotels for a month. We flew eleven times for a total of just almost 24,000 miles, just short of a complete circuit of the Earth. I may have grown feathers.

That would be great for me and this time I will make it as I have the gas money and no one to prevent me from coming, Almost any weekend it fine with me other than the following weekend when I will be in Tallahassee for sprintime Tallahassee. I can't believe its time again. Hubby & I have been busy adding a lot of natives to our yard. As we get closer I'll post to see if anyone is interested.

The swap was our 1st and we enjoyed it very much. Loved meeting everyone. We were down by the water. There was a nice breeze. There were 2 blonde women there. They gave us some cuttings. We left about the time the group pics were being taken. I didn't know something had happened. You try to do something nice & open your home-- as they say no good deed goes unpunished.

how's is everyone's holy basil growing?

All the plants that were given to me are doing well with the exception of the papaya tree that is just barely hanging in there with one little leaf.

I'd love to come, this time I'll cook and leave food for the men before I leave home, but i don't know what plants I would bring...gotta start working on it from now.
