Gina, if you want an Iron suppliment, and willing to buy online, you can find this mineral at many nurseries.

To be honest, after looking at your pics, there was only one, the tangelo, that could be suffering a 'mild' case of chlorosis.
The fertilizer you have contains less than 1% of iron, so it may or may not help. This is why it's important to use an iron suppliment 2-3 times a year as a preventative.
I buy one small bag which lasts a long time.
Do you normally fertilize your plants in winter? If so, then try the food..If not, perhaps you should check out nurseries..if you need help looking for iron at online stores, I'll help. LMK..Toni

ok other than nursery where would I find ph test? I asked for soil test at the nursery and all they told me was take soil to the county extension office..
and what ones are best if more than one kind? I've never tested my soil.

Buy a pH guage if you're worried about the soil.
But for the time being, it's obvious a few of your leaves look like they're suffering from chlorosis. Most citrus books insist adding iron sulphate/chelated iron as a prevative will prevent this problem. And they advise doing so before chlorosis sets in.
Of course it's up to you..Otherwise your plants look healthy..Toni

The local nursery is geared to outdoor growing there are maybe a dozen "house plants" there. all run of the mill stuff half are "seasonal" their supplies are terrible. I sifted through a jumbled mess to find iron supplement. felt lucky that I found it.. there were herbicides in fert section and fert in with the insecticides.. I could special order a soil tester but they won't get shipment till spring??? *o* when I moved here 13 some odd yrs ago I had applied for an accounting job there. I'm glad that I turned it down. I can't imagine what their books look like.. The work would have been seasonal and conflict with time with kids. So I opted not to take the job after great consideration. I had briefly thought I could learn about plants and such working there. but I think I have learned more from books etc than I could have learned there.
Any way... back to the matter at hand..
As I just watered with a normal fert amount. I will have to wait on the iron sup.
Dale.. the potting medium is.. pine (I think it was pine) chips, sand, cactus mix, orchid mix, perilite, peat and potting soil. The pine chips are a newly added to the seedlings mix and George does not have the pine.
I am fairly sure they are just screaming for food as they haven't had any in over 3 months. I was going to resume feeding after George got better but was unsure about feeding them during winter. Guess I am keeping them happy enough other wise that they are still growing and needing nutrients. I have never given them iron supplement before.
I know that the pail leaves don't look too bad.. but I don't want to wait till they do look TOO bad. don't think the seedlings will be as forgiving about deficiencies as an older plants..

Gina new growth will always be lighter than the old growth. Give them time to harden off and they will darken like the old growth. I don't think your plants are lacking in anything. You can pick up a PH test kit at almost any big box store or decent nursery.

Gina, I argee the baby's won't be as forgiving as the older plants, but even older plants should be given an iron suppliment as a preventative..It's no big thing, just sprinkle powder and water..some iron suppliments come as a liquid.
The iron you mentioned, in your fertilizer is under 1% and will not have much effect if your citrus are undergoing chlorosis. Better safe than sorry..Right?

Its not the best thing, but I got a vial of pH strips at a Teacher Store near here for like $3.50. Beats the heck out of a good pH meter if youre on a budget.

My new FD foliage is coming in somewhat similar now, but almost all of the leaves have darkened well as theyve aged.
