Aloe or similar look for cold climate?

I'm on the border of zones 6 and 7, east coast so wet winters. I don't think there is a true Aloe that would be hardy here, but if there is, I'd love to know. But maybe there is some other hardy succulent that looks similar. I have some red hot pokers and the flowers are similar, but I'd like to know if there's anything else. My cacti do fine along with ice plants, sempervivums and yuccas.
