New Project..Moving a young maple ,need advice

Moving this maple is do-able. I have a decent site for it.

It's a swamp maple and has developed a good looking shape and branching.

However, it is growing in full shade along the north foundation of the house. The shade of the house allows it no direct sun at all.

Question is..it's new site is in full sun ,well watered soil on a slight slope ..that much to the good.

Won't it get sun scald?

Should I pot it for a year in a semi-sunny (morning sun) location to toughen the bark then plant it next fall?

This is what I'm tempted to do. Do you think a year of potting and gentle sun will help?
