Sorry, I can't help you identify anything...just wanted to thank you for sharing the pix of your flowers and your garden areas. The Rose section helped me with some decisions!

Thanks. I didn't think it was Henryi, but that's what the tag said...GRRR. You just never know. I'll have to wait until later in the season to know about the anthers on it.

You have Multi Blue identified correctly.

I think HF Young too but am not positive.

Now, my two cents...
I don't think your Niobe is Niobe. It looks much more like Clematis Viticella 'Mme Julia Correvon'. I have both and Niobe has five petals and more, and the flower is much bigger.
Now, the white clematis looks much more like Guernsey Cream to me too. What month does it flower?

magda, That wouldn't suprise me one bit that it's not Niobe. I'm beginning to think tags mean nothing, I have two of these with the tags still attached, and they don't match at all. The second one hasn't bloomed, hopefully it will be correct.

Here's a closeup of the white one. It blooms starting in late May, and will still have blooms coming on as late as July. I found another tag near the base of the plant that said Mrs. Bateman, but I don't think that is correct either.

So, Guernsey Cream it is :)
It is group 2, so you don't need to cut it down too hard. Then it will re-bloom in August and September supposedly if you prune it somewhat after the first blooms. It probably dies down to the ground anyway in your zone, as it usually does in mine, and there it flowers only from May to July. This year we had an unusually mild winter, and mine survived really big, is covered with flowers and I am looking forward to it re-blooming this year. Hopefully.

Now, 'Mme Julia Correvon' is a group 3, and likes to be pruned short - ab 30 cm initially, higher in later years.

Your Niobe is Niobe. For sure it is not Madame Julia Correvon. Madame has a much smaller flower and has 4 petals. Looks the 2 up and compare and you will see they are much different.

Now your #3 looks like Prince Philip. I don't think the prince is common so chances of it actually being the prince are slim.

Niobe does look more like Niobe right now- true. The previous pic had four petals. But, my MmeC has five petals too later in the season, but Niobe doesn't ever have four for me. How about others?
Now, the mystery clematis looks like Dr, Ruppel to me, and what is labelled Dr. Ruppel now looks more like Bees Jubilee, but who knows :?

Something just came to my mind. We can solve MmC vs Niobe mystery with the flowering pattern answer. Both of them start blooming in June, but MmC goes on continuously until the end of September, whereas Niobe has a break in July and reblooms in August and September.
