Please share the link to the torque specs. I would have guessed the small torques would have been given in inch lbs vs ft lbs. Examples in your torque specs and my mid 70s Poulan S25 chainsaw major torques: 1. The only ft lbs torques = flywheel nut 13-15, spark plug 18-22, clutch hub 13-51. 2. Some inch lbs as crank case 55-60, connector rod 55-60, highest carb housing 80-90. 3. All others = low in lbs 20-30. 1/4" drive recommended for in lbs and 3/8" for ft lbs torque. I thought these were interesting comparisons. VWs engines taught me to respect torque specs after rebuilding VWs about 15 yrs. I also made some good torque experiments as torquing a 26 ft lb head bolt before it stripped at about 75 ft lbs. A close friend has decided these are the very best house plant, it's hard to argue, the only situations that they can't survive are... Wet feet, and it takes a long time for that to get em too. This friend has several in just about the lowest light possible, she killed a few in that spot til I told her to stop watering. They don't really grow, not that we can tell, but light water once a month and this guy looks as good as he did 2 years ago, just exactly as good, no better or bigger, but no problems My friends happy, she doesn't want it to look a bit different!

Well, it is hard to say. Do the old ones really need fixing or is that just how they work as they are 10 years old? How much would it cost to fix them if you can even find replacement parts for them? Is the Maytag Epic reliable? Have you looked for reviews on Maytag Epics? You said you have to leave them behind if you sell the house. Is that required by law where you are? Everyone I know who has moved has always taken their appliances with them unless they were moving into a house with a better appliance than what they already have. If the sale of their house was contingent on it having appliances they just went out an bought used ones or ones from rehab outlets and left those behind. I got my FL as an anniversary gift so if anyone thinks its going to be left behind if I move, they are totally delusional. I'll replace it with something else if I have to, but my machine goes with me. Are you planning on being there long? If not, you might as well keep the old ones and only worry about replacing if it is really needed. Or you can put the new ones in, put the old ones in storage and when you move take the new ones and just put the old ones back. If I remember correctly, the average life span of a FL is about 10 years, but sometimes you get that diamond in the rough that just keeps going. I'm fairly certain that a newer machine, depending on the one you get, would probably clean better than what is there now. It could depend on what detergent you are using too and what stains aren't coming out. The scorching in the drier is definitely a prob as I still have my old TL drier and it isn't scortching any of my clothes, so that definitely needs to be fixed or replaced. Lord knows how much that may cost to fix too, if it can be fixed. I'm hoping some of the questions I posed helped. Unfortunately it is the best I can do to assist you. I use something until it wears out. Depending on my finacial situation at the time, I'll fix said item if that is all I can afford. If it keeps breaking down then I save up to replace it, but your situation is unique as you have to leave them if you move.

My son has ADHD, and is very active. He has trouble sleeping,which surprises me, since he plays so hard all day long. I tried the bed alarm,but he wasn't allowing it to work. Every time he used it, he wet it about 10-15 minutes after he went to bed(yes he went to the bathroom right before bed). It was almost as if he was forcing pee to come out so he could hear the alarm go off. The problem is, once the pad is wet, you have to wait till it's dry again to use it again. He's still wearing pull-ups, and wets almost every night. Tonight, only 5 minutes after he went to bed, he let out a little yell, and when I went to go see what the matter was, he said his sister turned his light on(not the case). I looked at his bed, and it was soaked with urine, and he had a pull-up on, plus he had his Nintendo DSI open in the middle of the bed!He has snuck the DSI into his bed many times, and he loses it for a day, but, tonight I told him he lost his DSI for a week! I was furious, because I knew he peed intentionally, and his pull-op obviously wasn't fully covering him. I don't know what else to do. He has to "want" to quit pee-ing the bed, I can't force him to quit. Does anyone have any advice?
