Meyer Lemon repotting questions

I have had my lemon for about 8 years old and I get anywhere from 3 to 8 very large lemons a year. I keep it outside all summer and take it in over our winters. Every winter it has a massive leaf drop and by the time that May rolls around it is almost bare but it always grows a lush leaf cover over the summer and it is quite large now. Over the winter I keep it in a sun room that stays about 62 degrees and it gets direct morning sun.

I have some questions that maybe someone could answer:

How often should I repot it? What soil should I use?

It is now in a large plastic type (fake teracotta) pot that does not have any drainage and it seems to be doing better than ever. Should I repot it in a pot with drainage? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
