Please help me name this cactus and a ? about Hummel jades. Pics

It pop out a flower that I never expected...I guess the full sun outdoors has defiantly made a difference..Does anyone know the name of this cactus?

Also, does anyone know why my Jade continues to change color..It has not gone back to green and here it is summer!!

It just constantly changes hues..I really love this one..It is next to my unnamed cactus with the flower. Here are my others too. pics taken today..

Mike! That's one hairy flower!
It looks like it could use a shave or waxing! Ha!
I don't know what it is, however!

Your Sunset Jades will all color differently, depending
upon the moisture in the mix/pot and the sun they receive.
Lookin' good!

pssst, Lowes in the Houston area all just got new shipments of cactus\succulents and there are a ton of these in there. As a matter of fact, they must have shipped to everyone because Walmart and Home Depot were both unwrapping the same cactus this past week. I was kind of surprised to see all the varieties of jades they had. You know I had to dig through all the boxes and picked up an euphorbia I didn`t have along with some nice little plants for a cactus dish garden. I myself do not grow them (jades), they do not like the humidity of the island nor our monsoon rains. There is a nursery up the road that has some enormous green jades that are in full bloom right now. They keep them in a very dry, very hot greenhouse and I think water them once a year. Don`t have a hot dry greenhouse either. I`ve mailed plenty of ball moss,Tillandsia recurvata, to Canada, as a craft item of course,not to grow or anything. That`s my story and I`m sticking to it. Hi Xuan :) I'm not the person you are asking advice to. I just wanted to tell you that I bought my Hummel's sunset from K and L cactus nursery (in California). Someone from our forum here directed me to the nursery I told you about 3 years ago. I will email you privately for her email address. I didn't use an order form and the Hummel's Sunset is not listed on her website. I emailed her and asked for an established plant or cuttings she has to sell (she has both available). She send me some pics-price of the Hummel's Sunset- Crossby's Compact. The price is away much cheaper than the one on Ebay. Thanks to Gray (greenthumb_gray) who let me know about K and L Cactus Nursery :)

Most of the forums I've been on only allow editing for anywhere from an hour or two to a few days. The reasoning, as I understand it, is that threads quickly become incoherent if people go back and change content that people have already responded to. Or something like that. OTOH, forum administrators can always delete content for privacy or if you don't want something you said out there for some reason, so long as it's reasonable to do it, though Houzz could be so hands off that they don't actually have someone on staff with the time to keep up with the demands.

I have a globular cactus just like that. I believe it is Echinopsis multiplex or E. oxygona. They might be syms for each other. Unfortunately my only hope for a bloom fell off yesterday. It was tragic. No other promising sites either :( Theres always next year! Wonderful picture!

Mine just finished blooming and has another bud plus a little baby! The blooms are just awesome, thanks for the photo.
Can't help you on Jades, they barely survive in our humidity.

'Jade ovata 'Hummel's Sunset' as the sun set it will change the color of the sky. I don't know it that is Mr. Hummels only hybrid of 'Jades' If there are clounds they will change color as well, he lived in Inglewood, close to the ocean, it must have reminded him of the sun setting. If I can find his old catalogue that may give me a clue. Norma
