I am looking for shorter coleus seeds from plants such as the Wizard series, Swinging Linda (LOVE that name!), Carefree series,Black Dragon, Fairway series, etc. Let me know what you have. Also, would like seeds from a White or rare color of Christmas cactus (I have the hot pink one). I have some mixed tall garden phlox (from named varieties), 3 different kinds of named hosta seed, daylilies - pod parent is named variety, and lots of other seeds. I am trying to germinate/grow my own. But for the starter I have bough a 4-pack($2.25) from PIKES, repoted in 1/2 gal pots(less than 60 cents/plant). When they grow roots in pot, then I plant them in the garden. These are labeled PINK GIRL. I did a search and learned that it is an "OK" tomato. I do this every year, b/c I dont have a greenhouse and dont like caring and growing inside the house, under light. It is too much work. We have a long and hot growing season and I can even direct sow tomatoes.

If they are happy right now in the amount of sun they're getting, then leave em be. Just keep an eye out because summer sun is coming:). Yes, in a few months you can take the wrap off. Sounds weird, but you will kind of know when it's time. Keep them moist not wet. Then at the 6 month mark you can transplant them. Let them start going through periods of drought at this point. Not for long. Just let the soil dry out for a day or two. Since you live in Minnesota you may want to get a heat pad for the winter. Just keep them away from any ice cold windows. The link I put below is just purely a how to separate the seedlings:). So no snakes:). I personally don't get freaked out by snakes. I think they're pretty, but if there were spiders/tarantulas I would jump outta my skin;)! Cactus seedlings
