Lucy - I'm mostly a lurker here but do enough lurking to know what a great person you are and that you were on a trip to Florida to visit grandkids. Glad that you had such a good time and I just know that your sweet nature makes you a big hit with those kids! Are they already begging for a return trip? :)

Barb after being at Disney and Universal. I must say for LITTLE folks like my Grandkids, Universal was a LOT more fun and by far not as crowded!

Oh the bad luck mostly reveres to the 2 airplane trips there and back. From our Regional Airport the flight was cancelled and we had to take a bus to Dallas. Was only suppose to take 3 hours but the bus driver got lost in Ft. Worth and after 4 1/2 hours we finally made it there. Just to find out that the next flight was delayed also. It was 14 hours before we were in Orlando :-(

On the flight back the again had airplane trouble going to the small regional airport with the smaller planes. When they started to postpone the departure time and then looking for volunteers to get of the plane. 9 folks all together, Maddy and I took them up on the 250 dollar Voucher. Night a great hotel and 1000 miles added to the flyer miles. That did not however get us to the hotel faster so I could put the overtired Maddy to bed. We waited almost 2 hours for the shuttle bus to come pick us up.
When they started to delay the departure the next morning also, I almost lost it. I went up and told them my horror story and that they better put me on a flight SOON.

After we moved to a new gate and a while later we finally were on the way HOME!

Oh and that my suitcase was lost on the way there....well Maddy and I started to love sleeping in the nude roflmao.

Gosh I hate to remember bad times so I go now and clean the house. Not liking that...it is still a LOT better then remembering the flying experience lol
