OT: POTD: I finally got to meet Kylie in person

Good morning to all and to all a wonderful day!

The last 2 days have been a blast. I am so glad that Kristy and I live in the same city. That way I got to meet Kylie now. This wonderful person who became my friend online because of everything she does and all she is,

is even funnier when you meet her in person. I have been roflmao constantly lol

We visited the Oma Nursery and she nows everything about plants. and it was just great. Oh my Gosh. When Kristy and her came to my house to pick me up and we walked past the front Canna plants...of course KYLIE spotted a seed!!!!! I could NOT believe it. All the other seedpods that had ever formed...where triplets. There she picked a single brown one. Which I would have not even checked for seeds :-(

Anyways. Yesterday Kristy called and ask if Maddy and I wanna go along to the Safari Park that is just down the road from us. Which I had no Idea it was there until recently and SO CLOSE. Unfortunately Maddy is camping with her dad so she missed out on the hilarious fun we had. I have not laughed so hard since I left Germany.

With Amazement and pleasure I washed how interactive Kylie can be with ALL animals. If I had not seen it with my own eyes, I would not believe it. Of course I had my windows rolled up when THIS fellow came :

Kristy had told us about him and boy oh boy that was just to funny. Especially for me...I was sitting in the back and SAFE from him roflmao. Kristy had warned us that he sticks his head all the way into cars and steals the bag of food. Well not with Kristy and Kylie there hahahahahaha But The Camel just loved all the attention Kylie gave him.

The Zebra and Kristy had fun together. After Kristy was done feeding it, it SPIT all over her face when going brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr and saying thank you for feeding me lol

I believe it is safe to say, that I had more fun there then Maddy would have had lol. I am SURE.

Now it is time to go outside and start the day with the morning walk with Aisha.

It sounds like a blast! I hot y'all had some wipes for poor Kylie's face. Who knows, maybe camel spit is a wonderful facial!

Lol, I'm not gonna drive the truck. I'm gonna plant flowers in the bed of it at the shop, lol. I just talked to the dentist and its gonna cost me a thousand dollars to fix that one dang tooth. Corporate at Denny's is officially closed today but the guy that answered the phone seemed to think they were going to take care of it but said I had to wait for the lady to call me tomorrow to tell me what I need to do. I can't get an appt. with the dentist until next week unless I want to pay the emergency fee. Thats another $200. I'm gonna have a dang hole in my tongue by then from the sharp edges. I told hubby to file it down with a dremmel, lol. He is not a happy camper. Sharp teeth are no fun, lol.

lol....my mom and I always say...you can take everything away from us...but you can not stop us from laughing. It DOES keep you young at heart!! Kylie I sure danced SO much and now I know that I am crossing fingers AND toes in the future right away...cause it sure rained a lot here also. It was such a relief not to have to go out and water and the WHOLE yard is wet. Of course I was thinking about you. Hoping that you got your share of rain. PA so glad you got rain too and the rest who needed it! Haase the only time I burn candles is when I have a romantic evening with a glass of wine and Andrew's Gold by my side. Looks like the candles have to wait a bit longer. Besides, I do not turn on lights...I have these little night lights...on the floor. They really give you just enough light were you think wow...everything is a ok lol Lucy

wow Karyn that Princess Victoria is beautiful!No I have not ask. Chocolate Brug maybe you read this and can answer the question. I have to read up to the color break. Is that bad when it is caused by a virus? Barbra I was told to stick it in a mixture of vermiculite and I use MG. LIke 2:1 parts. Stick it in...rooting hormone not really necessary. Wate it until it comes out on the bottom and not to water again until you see a sign of leave growth. Of course put in on concrete / driveway in the sun. Worked for all the ones I have been rooting. yupp even I got lucky ONCE lol Oh I was very excited but no matter when I stuck the nose in...NO smell what so ever :-( The bloom is a lot smaller then last years if I remember correctly. But...I AM NOT COMPLAINING!!! Maddy just went to meet the teachers night and dinner is almost ready. I so hope I have another surprise bloom tomorrow. YES TEXAS finally is letting me have blooms too. That is the difference with Gh owners and me...who has none :-( Ok do want to catch up on some threads... Will work on sending the cuttings off on Monday for you and Brandon. OMG!!! What a Blast We have had!! These two Women are two of the most Wonderful and FUN Friends anyone could ever wish for.... DEF will be back!!!! This Party is NOT over Hubby just pulled up and we are staying for the weekend!! WOOHOO!!!
BTW.. That Camel kisses pretty good LMBAO!!!!

You have got to be kidding me! You spent the day with Kylie, and you have one photo of her... and its the back of her head! I swear... if I ever meet you, Kylie, I am going to torment you, mercilessly, with the camera... every photo will be plastered all over every forum you belong to!

So glad that you all got together and had such a great time! Wish I had been there.

YES just thinking about the time together puts the biggest grin on my face again :-) And YES it feels like it was my grown up vacation time :-)

Bob, you know these signatures you carelessly put on a piece of paper with the small print? Well Kylie tricked me and only SHE can post herself lol Besides....how often do you get to see a Camel? With Kylie ONLY being less then 3 hours away...I KNOW I will see HER more often then the Camel lol THEN there is no waiver anymore I am signing rofl.

All I want to add to the above message I posted is...that if we ever put together a get together for ALL garden Webbers...I WILL BE THERE!! My gosh it would be the best time! Of course we need a LOT more time. Hard to put ALL you want to do and know about each other in a few hours.

Ok but now I am REALLY going in the shower lol

Lucy you missed out. We snuck off while the guys were napping to the mexican yard art place and I got John a giant red flamingo with bright colors at the base for his pond garden we made for Mercedes and I tricked him. I set it up and when woke up I acted like I saw the blue heron going after his fish and said run there is bird near the pond! He is gonna eat your fish and flew out the door ready to do battle and said What the heck is that! Lol. He really liked it. Kylie got her hubby a metal are really cool gecko. Gonna get me one of those later. Then we ate supper and went to the dirt track races and watched Patticake and her hubby race.

Kristy the surprise is in my wallet rofl Last night my hubby reminded me that we are flying on THURSDAY..darn it...I thought we are flying on Friday. Now I am really stressed out that I am not getting everything done in time.

So glad you did not sign the waver. I thought I was just signing on to a promise...to see each other more often now :-)

I really can not wait to see THAT bird lol. John must have really still had a lot of sleeping dust in his eyes rofl.

They just got on the road to go back home. Lucy she said tell you she will come again pretty soon or we can make a trip to her house. We weren't thinking about it being father's day this morning.

I'm jealous. kristy sent me an email just to gloat that the 3 of you were getting together. lol Glad you all had a great time but you really should take a road trip to DC : )

Kylie, I am SO busy with trying to get everything ready for the vacation....Thinking about you a lot and the great time we had. Hopefully AFTER the vacation I will have a life again and can get in touch with you. Until then, potted up the Cuttings today because I do not want hubby to deal with cuttings in water.

Hey guys, Kylie has the biggest smile that comes right from the heart. If I had not signed that waver, I would show you :-)

Kristy how was it being back at work ?

Rigo you just enjoy your children, the time together. The fresh veggies..oh man yumm. We are here when ever you got time to say hello.

I miss you guys too. Gets busy in the hot weather trying to keep everything alive and working. Still way behind on the work stuff but gonna catch up today I hope. This one's for you Bob, lol. If my finger wasn't in there and a bright light right behind her it would have been better, lol. Love the smile though. I went in there to get crickets for my pig of a frog tonight and she asked about Kylie. She said she really enjoyed her visit in the store and thought she was a hoot letting the bird eat her hat, lol.
