OT: prayers needed for our Deb

Please help me pray for our friend Deb's son. He is in the hospital and really needs our prayers. I love Deb and I hope she will not mind that I started this prayer request.

I will leave it up to her if she wants to get into details.

Deb I pray that your son will recover and be without any lasting damages. I also pray that God gives you strength and stays with you through this hard time. Your whole family is in my prayers.

I'll be praying for Deb's son too!
Would you mind if I added my 3 yr old neice, Mercy- to your prayer list? She came down with pleursy, & they had to remove 2/3 of her lung, it isn't reinflating, & she has this raging fever that medicine isn't doing anything for... this is her 2nd surgery where they have removed part of her dead lung- Please pray for her total recovery! Her parents are trusting God!

Thank you for posting the article from the Union Leader. After reading the article from the newspaper last evening (The Cabinet)I was wondering what happened. It was a horrible accident. How helpless that person operating the snowblower must have felt at that moment. Extra prayers for them. My husband was in a crush trauma accident 6 years ago. Most people do not survive with the same injuries. We are thankful for each day. Remember to hug your loved ones and tell them each day how much they mean to you. Each day is more precious than we realize.

Hello Everyone, I thought the next time I signed on I would be sharing the news that we were in a room. We got moved to a room last night. I got a shower and 2 1/2 hours sleep. He kept complaining about his stomach was bloated and he was having a lot of stomach pain. This morning the first thing he said was that he felt worse than yesterday and he started running a fever and hurting in his left chest area every time he tried to breathe. Long story short- We are back in SICU. I got very upset at first and cried and cried. After praying and watching them work on him I realized that they had moved a little too fast moving him to a room before they made sure that everything was working properly. The Dr explained that when the kidney was injured it told the colon to shut down too. But, it didn't tell it to start back up when it started back up. That caused problems everywhere. Also, he has been in the bed too long and there is fluid in that left lung that has caused infection. Can't spell that other word!!!! Too little sleep! I do feel better about this move because this time they will take care of business all over his body and he will be ready to leave next time. Please keep us in your prayers. Has anyone heard from Judith? I've been praying for her but haven't had time to check any other posts. If anyone knows anything please let me know here. Thanks again for EVERYTHING. De Spike and Ginger are too cute!! Spike is just adorable she looks like such a big dog in the first pic lol. Here are some pics of Maggie she loves to lay on anything clean- does Spike? She loves her plastic foot LOL This is Jorgie Thanks for everyones prayers :-) I wanted to say that Maggie had to go back to the dr's today and have her splint redone. Lucy, I am blanking out on who Deb is. Is it tropicgirl? Nonetheless, it breaks my heart when I hear of kids being sick and hurting.

Kasha, I wish Mercy wouldn't have to suffer at all, poor baby!

My prayers are that both Deb's son and Mercy will be totally healed by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. These two are babies so it's up to us to ask for God's mercy.

Hi all-
Thank you for all the loving thoughts & prayers for my little neice Mercy- My sister told me yesterday that the doctors took an x-ray of her good lung & think she has Pneumonia in there. Her parents are getting so discouraged, Mercy is so little- we keep praying that God would spare her life! She has been in ICU since the 2nd week of Feb... if you could please join us in lifting her up to the Lord, we would be sure to see the victory that Jesus has already won for us! I'll try to keep you all updated...

I truly believe in prayers and that God will do the right thing for Mercy and Deb's son.

My sister Peg is driving up to NJ to be with our youngest sister & her daughter Mercy- we all agree that they need to consider moving her to another hospital- maybe in NYC.. Mercy is now throwing up- & her lung is no longer inflating at all... Thank you for your continued prayers...

MJ that is my all time favorite picture. My mom used to have this one as a big oilpainting when I was growing up.

Kasha will continue to pray for Mercy and the entire family as I continue to pray for Deb's son.

Kasha, all things are possible .... I pray that some positive action is taken soon to give Mercy the best possible chance of a quick recovery. So good that your sister will be there to help and support both Mercy and her mom.

Kasha of course the prayers continue for little Mercy and please let us know how she is doing.

Deb's son is still in a Coma. He needs our continued prayers. Please don't forget to add him into your prayers for a full and speedy recovery. But mostly to wake up from the coma.

Update on Deb's son Bobby. PLEASE keep on praying for him. It has been 17 days now and he is slowly waking up. Doctors said he would be blind because of the injuries, but he opened his eyes and when his sister waved to him, he waved back. But he has a lot more to overcome to hopefully be his own self again one day

THIS is why prayers are still needed. They work!!!
