A sad day..Update on OT..Prayers needed

I just wanted to let those of you who have been praying for Jaiden and her family know that today the world is a sadder place.

After a very courageous fight, this morning Jaiden has lost her battle.

This is indeed very sad. She was a very beautiful little girl.

Heaven is a much brighter place today, sadly at the expense of many broken hearts.

It's been a busy, busy day! Just let the 'babies' in for the night! Spent a little more fun time with 'Arrant!' Told him he has only to get through tonight & tomorrow & then it will be time to see the Dr. I don't think he's too happy - growled! lol! Gets his bath tomorrow, brushed, & his nails trimmed. He'll be ready! Me - I'm just trying to stay in the 'positive' mode! :)) Thanks for the prayers & comments everyone!! I appreciate them very, very much! Made my evening (or should I say 1:58 am) seem a little better! Thank you!! You guys/gals are TOPS! Nephew's doing better! He'll be seeing the family Dr. on Monday as well! A busy day Monday! I'm also taking a vacation day Monday - not sure what to expect?? I hope all goes well! Everyone - give your fur-babies, cats, kittens, birds, reptiles, whatever the case may be (even tropical fish!!) - a HUGE & very tight hug!! Albert passed away at 1PM yesterday. He is best know for sharing his brugmansia plants. He just got interested in Plumeria, after he moved to the coast this past Dec. He was just putting in his flowerbeds at his new house. I talked to him last Saturday. He offered to let me have his trailer to bring back the big plumeria plants from John's house for K and Willey. I did not have a hitch on my car, He said his daughter took his truck to Belton, so he did not have a way to haul the trailer either. I told him I will just take my small truck, and see if I could bring a few home. When the box I had was too small to mail Andrew's Bill Morange, Albert drove 15 miles to bring me a box so I would be able to mail it to him. He was always thinking of others. He always read the plumeria forum, brugmansia forum, and the gardening in Texas forum, he told me he was so busy building his new deck and putting in flowerbeds, that he did not have time to post anymore. Dixiedog and others, While I can't speak for Beverly, one interpretation of her statement might be this: when these forums were by subscription, if you chose to pay to belong to some of them, you were investing yourself and a commitment to those forums and you might be more likely to involve yourself with the other posters on the forum. Those of us who have been here several years might see a difference between "then" and "now." Folks who want to be involved with the Cooking Forum are very welcome and we hope to hear from you a lot and welcome your participation. Those folks who lurk but hardly ever post, you are welcome, too, and we would encourage you to post now and then so we can get to know you. Those folks who post a question and never return....well....we'll just never know, will we?

I am so sorry to hear this news. We lose loved ones and it is difficult, but to lose a child - a little girl, is just so much of a loss. I pray that her family will find peace in some way very soon. I know that it will come - in the right time, it will come; I know as I lost my DD 13 years ago. I miss her dearly, every day, but the time has come that the memories bring peace and joy, and I smile. I send my hugs and best wishes to her family. I thank you also for keeping us all informed. gng

Gosh I was just thinking of her yesterday. This is very sad indeed. I could not possibly imagine the pain this family is going through.

This is certainly a reminder of how precious life is. It puts things in perpective as to what is truly important. I don't personally know Jaiden or her family (my sister does) but my heart breaks for them and their tremendous loss.

I'm very sorry to hear of her death. I can't imagine the grief the family is going to endure.

I just became aware of this as I purchased a local newspaper today. I have not yet read the complete story. I had no idea this family lives in a town close to us.
My thoughts and prayers are with them during this difficult time.

Make sure you have a tissue handy as it is such a tragedy.

My sister lives in the same town and started the blog as a way for people to offer the family support. My 8yr. old niece, along with my sister have made hundreds if not thousands of ribbons for anyone who requested them.

My heart truly breaks for them. No one should have to go through what this family is going through.

How sad. I read much of the blog just now, but it does not say what type of accident she had. Can anyone fill me in?

Thank you for posting the article from the Union Leader. After reading the article from the newspaper last evening (The Cabinet)I was wondering what happened. It was a horrible accident. How helpless that person operating the snowblower must have felt at that moment. Extra prayers for them.
My husband was in a crush trauma accident 6 years ago. Most people do not survive with the same injuries. We are thankful for each day. Remember to hug your loved ones and tell them each day how much they mean to you. Each day is more precious than we realize.
