Help Me Save My Senecio mandraliscae Please!

Hi there. This is my first post on what looks like an excellent resource. I have a problem. Last week I bought a small plant from my local nursery that looks like the pictures of Senecio mandraliscae I have seen. It stood about 8 inches high with two primary stems and came in a small 1.5x1.5 inch planter, so I replanted it in a terra cotta pot with cactus mix. The guy at the nursury recommended full sun, so I put it out with the rest of my succulents. After about 4 hours in the sun, the leaves looked like spaghetti...all drooping down. So i figured it must be transpiring all it's water, so i brought it in for about a week, and it seemed to get better. I also gave it more water. It doesn't seem to be doing to good, and I put it out today because various websites have confirmed that it should be in full light. But i got the spaghetti effect again. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks!
