Lack of sufficient heat and light, Nikki, is my guess. It looks healthy enough, but unless you can duplicate constant 20-25C everyday temps and lots of light now, it might be best to wait a month or two to get it growing again properly.

Mine look almost the same way - kind of like Adansonia digitata in miniature.

Hey there Nikki! Yes, I agree...more light and heat if possible, a south facing aspect would be better during the day and under a lamp come evening. Heat from a radiator will be good too. A regular table lamp, anything that gives of light would help them along till spring and those sunny summer days...as if!

An 'idea to consider'....When you re-pot, you can lift it up a little, maybe to where the white tap root joins the caudex and it will give it an instant height boost. The thinner feeder roots that will end up above soil level can be sliced off flush with the caudex as it has plenty left below. Mine have never gone dormant so they are watered every 3 days or so even at this time of year and are still growing.

I have checked for bugs and can't see any will keep checking though

Hi there Nikki, that looks great! The caudex looks hard and tough, just right. Once the top kicks into growth again I'm sure it will make you a super looking plant, as the shape is lovely so far, I really do like that one! Any pics of the others for us to look at? Make sure the new pots are not too big as they are better not overpotted. The more empty soil you have to root ratio the greater the chance of root/caudex rot.
I haven't used Miracle Grow personally, no reason why it shouldn't work though. I give mine whatever I have to hand and they have had Baby Bio, Orchid food, Chempack houseplant, Tomorite, Wilko houseplant and am currently on a tub of Vitax African Violet food...they like a varied menu! I mix it a little weaker than the info states and never feed when they are dry as it can burn the roots. They get it once a week in the better weather, but less often now, say once a month. I water probably every third/fourth day currently. As yours has just been re-potted, I would wait a few weeks before you start to feed it, just go with the more light/heat option first...(just my thoughts)
Not sure if you are familiar with scale? Tell tale signs are clear sticky patches of honeydew. They can be really hard to detect...they're so flat and hide along the mid-rib of both surfaces of the leaves or up against the angle between leaves and stems and are an almost transparent yellowy colour, very little sneaky critters!!
Will get some up to date pics in next few days when I'm off work, have so much to catch up on just lately.

Hi Gill .. you may be right about the scale I noticed some sticky stuff on one of my Adenium babies so I dipped a cotton bud into surgical spirit and gave it a clean, I hope it don't damage it...
