Why did I even bother?

I've been out weeding and admiring my garden, and I'm noticing all the "weed" seedlings popping up in between my last-year wintersown plants. Well what do you know? They're not weeds at all! They're new seedlings, just like the ones in my jugs! I have literally hundreds (thousands in the case of columbines) of sprouts. I'm just going to let them grow and move them where I want them once they're big enough. I guess I'll reserve winter sowing for those fussy annuals or rare hybrids I just need to try once in a while. The rest are native to my area and apparently do just fine on their own.
