selecting ivory/creamy rose for fence

Hi! We are moving to a craftman/ california-bungalow style. It's 4 blocks from the ocean in Southern CA, corner lot Wfacing South-West (towards the ocean).

e have a 50 ft fence on the front, and 20 ft on the side.

I'd like to put ivory/ creamy-white roses that seem to softly "hang" over the fence. Like a vine.

I love the antique flower style (lots of petals, cup shape), and I've been browsing the David Austin site and saw some that i like the flower, but couldnt find pictures of the plant.

1-Do you think any of these might do well on a fence, or can you recommend something else?

2-How far apart should I plant them?

3-Can I plant them now, or is there a time of the year when I should plant roses?

4-do roses do well in this type of climate?

5-will these roses be pest-resistant, or I should be concerned? i have a 2 year old, and prefer to stay away from pesticides

in advance, thanks to all for your time and patience!!
