Oh dear... are my roses unwell?

Hi

I wonder if you can help. I'm a very inexperienced gardener (only got my first 'garden' a few months ago) but having some concerns about a couple of my roses.

The first I think is probably more straightforward. Picture here: http://cdn-3-service.phanfare.com/images/external/3507143_5295344_139866574_Web_2/0_0_d8b2a1803a08ccfe084df0b73fa638b6_1

This rose seems to be showing signs of black spot, and has been for many months despite treatment. Have I diagnosed correctly or does it look as if something else might be the cause of the problem?

The second one really puzzles me. Picture here: http://cdn-3-service.phanfare.com/images/external/3507143_5295344_139866573_Web_2/0_0_15c7e5d6be2cb78226d01fb60f5f7a7f_1

I'm attempting to grow two climbing roses from very large pots around my front door. They've done incredibly well, and since planting about 4 months ago they've already grown to about the height of the door. However suddenly, in the last week some of the leaves have turned very yellow. Now, it's autumn here so I guess this might just be typical, but it's been very sudden and I've not seen anything like this before. It's a rambling rose, name of 'Garland'. Anyone able to shed any light on whether this is normal or unusual?

Many thanks for any help on either problem!
