Your spray of blooms & bouquets (Annie L. McDowell rose)

I finally got Annie to grow long stems for bouquet. Soluble gypsum (calcium sulfate) gave Annie L. McDowell a big jump in growth. I was able to cut long-stem sprays for bouquet. The color is faded in hot sun, plus no horse manure ... too alkaline for Annie's acidic preference.

Annie's stems are 100% thornless, it's a joy to cut. The scent is lilac and lavender, pure heaven. I put it in the bathroom, since its wafting scent is so strong, that doesn't work in the dining table.

I would love to see your sprays of blooms or bouquets. I cut lots for the vase this summer, and Annie L. McDowell rose remains my favorite, with its fabulous scent.
