Have you met 'Leys Perpetual'?

Its' a yellow rose that was lost and "found" in England during the early 1900's, and it is believed to be a Tea-Noisette.

I'd like to know about its'

1. foliage, which is nearly as important to me as the bloom. Is it attractive enough to serve as a foliage plant when out of bloom?

2. bloom style? Tea roses show my favorite bloom style, elegant yet natural in appearance.

3. Fragrance? mild, medium or strong? Does it have a tea scent or other type of fragrance?

4. does it climb?

5. is it healthy enough to grow in an organic method garden, where Cornell is the only spray used?

6. Hue. I'd love a lemony yellow rose that didn't bleach out in the summer to nearly white, which is the only thing I didn't love about "Reve d'Or"

Thank you so much,

Luxrosa

P.S. I bought my house yesterday! it still feels a little unreal to be a homeowner, at long last. I measured the square footage of garden space with special care, before I examined the house, and I didn't even notice that a new refrigerator came with the house and I nearly went out and bought a fridge yesterday.

Clearly I have my priorities straight, room for Old Roses above all.
