Anything you direct sow because it's just so easy?

Ok - I have about 20 ws milk jugs (including all of my perennials - and I think I sowed the annuals way too thick and will have to do very tiny HOS!!!). I plan to do another 10-15 jugs, plus tomatoes and laurentia axillaris started inside. But I have too many more seeds! I am not only running out of containers and potting mix (didn't stumble upon winter sowing till January), but with a full-time job and a small child, I will have very limited time for planting out.

So - which of these seeds should I direct sow because they're just that easy to grow?

bachelor buttons

sweet alyssum

heliopsis

four o'clocks

nicotiana

marigolds

zinnias

night phlox

dill

borage

basil

Just trying to save myself some time in the spring rush! The ones most important to me, like columbine and candytuft, I have, of course, winter sown.

Thanks!
