July 7, 1912, Margaret Watts Deneyster wrote an interview with a soon to be more famous woman in the Atlanta Constitution.

"The winsome wife of the democratic candidate was speaking in her calm, frank, unaffected way. ÂWinsome best describes Mrs. Woodrow Wilson. She has wonderfully lovely large brown eyes, melting lips which bespeak her warm, kind heart, a wealth of soft, wavy hair which she wears nestling low down on her broad, deep milk-white forhead. Her features are small and regular, suggesting more than anything else on of angelicas cameos. Her arched eyebrows indicate intellect. Her figure is rounded without in the least running to fatness. The lady of the little white house at Seagirt, whom many think certain to be soon the first lady in the land is a charming feminine tea rose among women. She has the daintiest taste in dress, affecting quiet, warm shade which suit her wonderful complexion admirably."
