Tree I.D. needed

marricgardens

We bought our farm 10 years ago. There was a 6' 'mystery tree' growing behind the barn. It is still not a tall tree, maybe 15' now. We have never seen it bloom but it gets small green pearl size fruit which turns black over time. I tried one and it is quite bland in flavor so I think I'll leave it for the birds. It has only borne bruit twice in all this time. At first I thought it might be a Chokecherry but the berries are more 'clusters' than racemes. Aren't chokecherries red? Anyway here are two pic. Sorry they're not the greatest.

We do like the shape of the tree and it seems to be quite hardy. Any ideas? Marg
