need rose i.d. for white rose

This is a rose that I started from cuttings..bright white, very mild fragrance. I don't know if it is a once bloomer, but I suspect that it is.

front of flower...

back of flower, notice the pink spash..and the buds ...

I think -- among the loveliest of roses.

I "found" her at a cemetery..it wasn't in bloom at the time..but I was intrigued because of the foliage and thorn arrangement..thought it might be special.
I just looked it up on HMF..and you are right..that is my rose..I am going to enjoy growing this rose!
I took the cuttings 2 summers ago, and this is the first bloom I've seen..and lots of them!! Thanks...Donna

If the blooms are between an HT and a mini and bloom in small clusters that first one is probably a floribunda. Just a wild guess but maybe Anne Harkness? That pink one looks like my Baby Blanket.

I always thoroughly enjoy walking by this rose, and I think I will have to at least try to get a cutting. The plant itself is HUGE, y'all. It has grown into a very interesting shape with one large stem (like at least 4" thick) growing completely horizontally along the ground so that it looks like 2 plants that take up that whole bed. I'm pretty sure it's just one plant, though. I couldn't get into the bush far enough to see how big around the base is. I have a much larger yard than I used to (when space was too challenging to plant larger roses), so I should be able to find a good spot for it. I will be posting the rest of the pics now, maybe in multiple posts. Thanks for all the help, everyone! Keep it coming!

Hoovb, thanks for responding, but I don't think it's Evelyn. If you click on the link above to the main thread I have posted a full description with 10 more pictures of the mystery rose. I have grown Evelyn before and the color is never that deep. Evelyn has always quickly faded to flesh tones for me, while this rose retains its color....

Mine also came from a cemetery -- from the grave of a 25-y-o Cornish-born miner -- Emanuel Penrose.
I think there's something very special about roses like that.

I do hope it blooms as nicely in the cemetery as I see it here..I haven't been back there..I should go just to see, and to take a picture of where it came from. Thanks for the I.D....Donna

Boy, Jeri, you are amazing. I'm reminded of the time a friend (from the other coast) mentioned she had a new car. I said, "what is it?" She said, "it's maroon."

When I looked at that rose, I thought, "how pretty. It's white."

No clue. Sad, really.
